I read a couple snippets about his defensive game being solid too. Was great to hear.

Beauty of a game from Grigs. Showed all the reasons he should've been a top 5 pick: insane vision and passing, and a pretty dang good shot that he's willing to use as well. I also thought he played a pretty solid defensive game. Had a few nice pass breakups and had no problem stepping up and taking the man in front of the net if a d-man wandered to battle for the puck along the boards.

Side note: Vasilevsky is a really, really good goalie.

Can we start spreading nasty rumors about McKinnon and maybe give him mono so he'll drop to us next year too?

Thanks for the video. At times he looked like a man among boys. Very exciting that he is a part of the organization.

Not sure why MacKinnon gets all the hype. He's 23 years old playing against teenagers. Oh, and he's lazy and/or has mono.

I say we exclusively draft first round picks with mono - at least we'd get a player out of every draft...

Hey given a) his 2ppg he's been averaging over this season and b) Roy has been forced to rotate nights off because of the 3 Euros on his roster is Grigorenko likely to make the Sabres roster come (if/when) the seasons start.

His conditioning seamed to be the biggest issue an I'm more than happy letting him build up in the Q. However I know he's been sat once already as part of the Euro rotation and I'm not sure how comfortable the Sabres or Quebec is in letting that continue.

I would rather him get Tyler Seguin treatment than play in the QMJHL. It would really benefit him from practicing and being around professional players. I also think that he is bored in juniors. If the season starts in December you could have him play in the NHL then loan him to the world juniors aswell.
