Not an overager. Neither is Hudon which was mentioned above.

Best example I can give from the Sens is Mike Hoffman who played for Drummondville. Drafted as a 19 year old lit the Q and has a couple very successful seasons in the AHL so far. Should be a bottom six forward in the NHL very soon.

Clearly you haven't played hockey yourself, everyone hates this kinda cowards who acting thought with their visors on, you clearly can see how he lowers hes head (this is simply one the most cowardish thing one can do in hockey) and hits Lamberg straight to chin when Lamberg is delivering perfectly clean hit where he is floating through the defensive zone arms tucked and no jumping motion at all.

The reason Lamberg got injured in this hit was because he did lower hes head. I'm being completely unbiased about this. Just watch the video again.

As already mentioned from Tampa Bay:
Cory Conacher
Tyler Johnson
Mark Barberio

But don't forget Ondrej Palat, he was drafted in the 7th round last year as a 20 year old and is on a ppg rate in the AHL so far!!!

Well and let's see what JT Brown will do this year....

If we are talking prospects Oskar Fantenberg looks really promising.

Obviously the most extreme example of an overage draft pick is Johan Franzen, who was drafted at age 24 (almost 25) by Detroit in 2004. Obviously, that was a 3rd round pick well spent

Currently, probably JC Lipon of Kamloops looks pretty awesome as an undrafted/overager.

Homer shoutout for Alex Gogolev, although at age 20 (by draft) and Russian, it's probably never going to happen.

Mike Sgarbossa. Undrafted in 2010, signed by San Jose at a tryout after the draft, lead the OHL in scoring last year with over 100 points and is now in the AHL having scored 11 points in 12 games as a 20 year old for Colorado's affiliate.

Tanner Pearson looks like he could be a 20g 20a kinda player.

I know he isn't a prospect, but Mark Giordano has to be up there for undrafted players.

Also my all-time fav Curtis Joseph.

How many of these guys are going to be top 3D/top 6F? Has anyone else jumped on this list?

Got you beat, in the same draft year:

Mark Streit was 27 when he was drafted in the 9th round by the Canadiens in 2004.

Barberio has top-four potential
Conacher will most likely play as a top-6 this season
Tyler Johnson looks like a 2nd/3rd-line sniper
Ondrej Palat could very well be a top-6 playmaker, but time will tell. His potential right now is at least 3rd line

So far through training camp Conacher has been lining up with Lecavalier and Purcell on the second line. Looks like thats where he will stick for now.

Top 6 seems pretty likely as a career projection, could be more, have to wait and see.
