...

Were they actually playing another team there, or just tripping all over each other?

Well, the guy Acolatse is tripping over is IceCaps forward Raymond Sawada, a player that Acolatse had just tried to use to dent the ice.

In reality, that picture was just at the end of a huge flurry where Sateri made three or four incredible saves and the whole team just converged on the front of the net.

There was very little information pregame about Petrecki's injury other than it was not expected to be a short term injury, and that it occurred when he blocked a shot and not when he fell tangled up with a Manchester player. Petrecki is wearing a cast on his right arm that starts just below the elbow and continues past his wrist and covers his pinky and ring finger.

A couple of things about the injury. His taking the Manchester player to the ice happened after he blocked the shot...meaning he continued his physical play after what appears to be breaking a bone in his arm.

Oh, yeah...he played another shift after that too.

One of the Zambonis broke down between periods so the Bulls had to push it off of the ice haha

Clowe was behind the bench, Peckham played, and Sergio Romo dropped the puck.

Naw, I'm pretty sure it was Tony Romo. The broadcast even confirmed it. Twice.

Oh Jesus. Really? the broadcast team needs to get their act together.

I noticed a couple of changes at the game last night. Biggest one: new lights! The ice probably isn't as bright as it should be, but it's still ten times better if you ask me. I think they might have also gotten a new stadium announcer.

The lighting was noticeably better last night. It was a fun game to watch on TV.

Once during play, and the pbp guy caught himself immediately and corrected it, and the second time was the sideline guy who was interviewing him. Asked Romo to "Romo-bomb" his outcue, and then while signing off said that he had just interviewed SF Giants World Series Champion Closer Tony Romo.

At least the Bulls won.

CT being allowed 2 goals on 3 shots, unacceptable.

Early PP goal and finally a sense of urgency.

/edit: Sateri really not getting anything done, 5-1, and a couple of those goals were pretty weak.

Of the six one was an ENG, and on two there was nothing Sateri could do. There was three that were 100% stoppable.

Sateri's stats... 0-4-0-1 4.04 .851

And he's really been worse than those numbers show.

1st goal: Give away at the top of the dot for a 1 timer--no chance.
2nd goal: Unlucky bounce off a defenders skate--difficult shot to stop.
3rd goal: He should have had that one. Lazy glove.
4th goal: 3+ traffic, not an easy save but not as bad as 1 and 2. Not a bad goal to give up, especially on the PP. Momentum killer maybe, but it was a tough save.
5th goal: Beautiful pass, played it correctly, Groulx let him down.

Honestly, I don't think this was Sateri's fault--or at least the 5 goals aren't an indicator of his play. He didn't play great, but those were some really tough saves he needed to make and I don't think Stalock could have made any of those (side from goal 3--that was such a bad goal haha).

Stalock played great on Friday, was really stoked by his performance, though I wish there wasn't a game tomorrow, because I'd rather have seen him face the more high powered offense then Sateri.

Best thing about the Bulls game? Clowe interview pregame (coaches corner); definitely sounds like coaching is something he may pursue after retiring from play.

Heemskerk in nets and Reign just inundated with shots. Kinda surprised Nelson didn't get the start. Zero offense from Bulls. (Only cheers were for Seto's goals.)

Went to the Bulls game tonight. Pretty disappointing all around. The team looked awful. Lost 7-0 and outshot 47-9. I'd never been to the Cow Palace before and I had no idea it was old and run down. Dark too. Felt like a dungeon. Definitely won't go again. Lockout please end.

We agree on 2, 3, and 5. First goal wasn't a one-timer, it was a wrist shot from just above the circles. He was completely unscreened. The 4th goal was again a long blast where while there was some traffic around he saw the puck the entire way. That's three he should have stopped.

Stalock makes the saves on 1, 3, and 4, and has a chance of stealing a save on 2.
