I fear it's a concussion aswell. I've had a broken collarbone myself and you barely feel anything right away because of the adrenaline. He was shaken up beyond that.
A broken collarbone will barely heal before the WJC, a concussion could take even longer. I also doubt Minnesota will release him for this tournament if he's not 100% healthy.
No, the Wild just released an 8-12 week projection themselves, so pretty safe to say he's out. Even if he did recover in 7, I doubt they'd want him there before he even came back for Houston.
Now the question on D will be if we're best served splitting Klefbom and Lindholm or if they should form one extremely strong pairing (that could/should play 30 mins vs. the real countries).

Lindholm and Klefbom should play as much as humanly possible IMO.
I agree, give them 30 minutes/game but normal minutes in the first 3 or 4 games. I don't agree with your 2nd pairing, I'd rather see a solid defensive defenseman like Nielsen or Arnesson there.
It will be interesting to see who steps up on defense this weekend. There's a few spots up for grabs. Fernholm could be the defensive D they need, but I've personally not seen him enough.

nielsen is solid? he is very shaky player and very soft. arnesson should have a spot. hes been very good with dif.
I agree with this D, perhaps Byström instead of Pettersson as the 7th. Another thing that'd be interesting would be removing Klefbom from Lindholm and not having him play any PP since we've got Wikstrand and Lindholm to be the defenseman on each unit and allow for eight of the forwards to see PP ice and Klefbom to concentrate on more important defensive tasks along with Arnesson, for instance. But Swedish coaches don't really work that way.
As long as they don't have a Klingberg-Rensfeldt esque duo manning the blue line 4 forwards should be fine on a PP unit. Maybe even likely. If Zibby plays he would be a good choice up there.
Neither Burra or de la Rose would make my team, 1 month left to prove me otherwise. Molin I think has the 13th F spot right now. But that's assuming they get all NA forwards.
However, I've never been to high on Rakell, he doesn't make the top 6 on my team anyway. He could work with Rask and Wennberg, although I really would like to see Burakovsky on this team.
Schumacher, Malte Strömwall and Sörensen is on the radar.

Djuse certainly took the chance to earn a spot, I would be totally fine with him going. Arnesson also good, but he was already on my team.

Forward spots are so tough. There are like 10 candidates for 3 or 4 open spots.
Ziba, Rakell, Rask, Boyce, Lindholm, Wennberg, Forsberg, Karlsson, Åberg, Collberg can be considered locks for this tournament, and that leaves Arvidsson, Molin, Görtz, de la Rose, Burakowsky, Strömwall, Schumacher, Sörensen, Sandberg to fight for three spots.
Defense doesn't look as interesting. Think Tom Nilsson and Wikstrand will be going for sure behind Klefbom and Lindholm. Djuse was good, Jesper Pettersson too and seems to be a Rönnberg favourite. Arnesson should be there, so two spots to fight over for Djuse, Pettersson, Byström, Andersson, Fernholm, Djoos.
