That's very cool. IMHO, if there's one thing that's needed to push the revitalization of the downtown core, it's more residents. There's a lot of stuff happening in the periphery (Waterfront, etc, and I know I'm over-generalizing a bit), but it's great that this is smack dab in the core.
I'm looking forward to heading back to Winnipeg again for the project I'm working on, as I'll be renting an apartment downtown to lower our accommodation costs. Living in Toronto, where there's a vibrant downtown, I'm really hoping the same can happen in Winnipeg over the next 5-20 years. Centrepointe is a great start.
Finished AC3...gotta say I am pretty disappointed in the way they handled the story in this one. Very little to do with the American Revolution. I get that the developers did not neccessarily want to take sides British or Americans, but they really stumbled to develop what the Templars/Assassin's were trying to accomplish from either side. They could have had a great story of the Templar's trying to control BOTH sides to ensure they end up with power or something, instead the Templars do pretty nothing except die. Meanwhile they in a way concluded the main storyline with Demond, but not very well handled either...it seemed to be that they threw in an M Night Shyamalan in...a random twist at the end for no other reason than for it to be random. While the gameplay was great, this one really let me down for story, a first for the AC. I get that they wanted to set up future games, BUT it is possible to do that without bastardizing the existing story though...

Anyone playing Halo 4 multiplayer?... It's fun but no one talks anymore so it's pretty quiet.
People keep talking about Halo 4. I haven't played Halo since I first got my XBOX but am seriously considering it. So many amazing games coming out over the next few months though!

If anyone needs additional info regarding the upcoming condos to be located essentially right across the street from MTS Center, here is your conduit... http://glasshousewinnipeg.com/

Man, if you had season tickets and a condo there, you could run home and avoid the bathroom lines between periods.
Currently -25C with a -35C windchill in Lethbridge, with a possible low of -30C. This is just after recieving 30cms of snow, following a 25 cm dump of snow two weeks ago, leading to a total of 55 cms of snow in less than a month. Yeah, winter is here
