What's up with having teammates fight each other this early?

Next round's matchups:

Bristol Marunde vs Neil Magny
Igor Araujo vs Colton Smith
Joey Rivera vs Jon Manley
Mike Ricci vs Michael Hill

Looks like there will be some drama between the two Canadians in the house. Ricci should handle Hill easily in the fight.

I think so, Ricci is my pick to win the season, and I have not been impressed with Hill. Weird though to see Ricci turn his back on the whole Canada thing, that the two of them had going on. Hill seemed to really like Ricci.

Ricci and Manley are the two fighters who impressed me. Waters fighting anyone else I think would've won I think. He seemed tough.

I think the combination of Hill being arguably the worst fighter still in the competition and acting like a clown in the house made Ricci change his mind, and I don't blame him.

Manley will be in tough against Rivera.

Hill always seemed really cool to him though. Was Hill really Team Nelson's 2nd pick I can't remember, but Ricci said that's why he wants to fight him.

Yeah, but I bet he would have asked for Hill regardless. It's a good stylistic match up for Ricci.

Ricci should just tell hill the #1/2 pick reasoning. Problem squashed.

Ricci is there to win, treated hill with the utmost respect thus far. Hill needs to take the twist out of his panties.

Hill isnt the brightest bulb, and he seems pretty immature as well. I hope they dont carry that stupid storyline any farther than they already have. Also hope they dont show any more of Julian Lane. Just encourages dbags to act like dbags instead of getting face time because of their fighting skills.

Julian seems intent on ruining someone else's chance in the house. Seems like he only tries to start something with guys still in the competition. Maybe it's just because he knows they're not likely to fight back.

I think you're giving him too much credit, doubt he puts any thought behind who he starts stuff with.

I was excited when I heard a fighter from Mansfield was gonna be on the show. Then I saw him and immediately thought he was gonna be a tool. Sadly, I was spot on. The sad part is that producers are eating him up because they thinks that's what people want to see. Seeing the way he acts, I really worry about his wife and kids. Dude is unstable.

I watched the show for a few years now, but this season is really making me re-think things. I enjoyed the live season, but the "viewers" apparently like all the BS that goes on in the house, so they ditched the new format and went back to the old. I had never really thought about how the UFC sets up bad things to happen. They take 16 dudes competing against each other and makes them live in a place where they only have a pool table, a swimming pool, and endless amounts of alcohol to entertain themselves with. When you think about it, it's sick to setup that situation.

That episode even made worldstar and got a ton of views. Some of the comments are ****ing hilarious.

I kind of miss the days where guys would get kicked out of the house after they lost. But at the same time, I don't mind some of this drama in a very weak season in terms of talent.

The junie dig was a great part of the episode. The guy is a top 3 clown of all time, with little talent on top of that glowing characteristic.

Two fights tonight, including a battle between the Canadians Mike Ricci and Mike Hill.

Ricci is the only fighter there this season who is actually UFC worthy (that kid from the Marines might be ready in year or two). But his issue is that he's terrible for these types of shows. He's got the personality of a pet rock and a pseudo GSP style, but without any of the actual high end abilities. I think being GSP's punching bag has made him a little gunshy.

Dana or whoever is responsible for casting these shows needs to find some guys with decent cardio.

It seems all the fighters talk a big talk and then gas out after about 90 seconds.

None of the fighters this season looked like they actually wanted to fight. No urgency. No finish. Lackadaisical.

I think Ricci's personality has come across just fine on the show, and I don't think he's boring. I'm one who doesn't mind having the idiots on the show to add some entertainment, but I've found Ricci to be very thoughtful and smart while still being entertaining.

VigilanteMMA: OK so at the end, the announcer said that there would be a knockout—and it sure seemed he was talking about your fight. Could that be a spoiler alert?

Neil Magny: (laughs) Or maybe Julian finally got knocked out!
http://www.brazenapparel.com/2012/12...what-the-hell/

I really hope there's something to that even though it's extremely unlikely. Only reason I say that is because we've seen altercations happen before without the previews hinting at anything (i.e. Cruickshank/Tickle incident).

I'm pretty sure the finalists have been unintentionally "leaked" for awhile now, but I'm actually looking forward to the final episode.
