Other than NY or LA, which team do you think could land an old Cristiano Ronaldo in the future?

to be honest I think LA has a better chance. Or maybe I'm hoping that LA has the better chance. But in the end it will matter who wants to pay the most money to get him.

LA. Living in Hollywood would be right up his alley.

I thought Marquez was solid for them... Well there always Mexico...

Wonder who will replace him ?

And to the OP's question, LA.

Because technically it's what it is, but instead they are letting his contract run out.
The result is the same, but it isn't looked at as a termination. I worked contract jobs in the past, and even though my contract would expire and they wouldn't retain me, it wasn't viewed as a termination by other employers.

Good point. But this is a polite termination.

It's premature to say that, but Houston - Los Angeles again?

Tough to say. I don't give Seattle much of a chance, but D.C. could come back down 2 at RFK if Pontius is good to go or, somehow, they can get DeRo back.

You really have to hand it to the Gals, they play their best football this time of year. Keane, Donovan, and Beckham are all on the same wavelength, and Magee turns into Superman this time of year. It's really impressive the way they've gelled together, gotten healthy, and peaked at the right time.

Not impossible but I doubt it. Every time Houston seemed to trail off this season they bounced back with a solid performance. D.C. must be pissed though about those crappy refs lol.

No doubt, Salazar is awful. I only watched the first half, but there could have been a half-dozen cards that weren't shown.

I missed the DC-Houston game, but I saw the non-call that salazar had and thats a disgrae that it wasn't even called. I've been protective of salazar over the past fews years, but he lost a lot of respect from me after the game. I just don't understand how you can't make that call.

I didn't catch up the whole of it but on tsn 2 during the pause they said something along the line that the sideline referee after the game said if it had been a card it would've been called

Henry had that "I'm retiring after the season" feel about him the past 4-5 games. A lot of his mannerisms seemed to be reflective. especially the waving bye to Philly fans and his running into the crowd after the DC game.

L A is looking unstoppable. You can hate Robbie Keane. But there's no denying that leprechaun has some slick feet. His give and gos with Donovan are giving opponents fits. Beckham looked tired in the SJ series. i missed the Seattle game. Judging just from the highlights, he didn't seem much of a factor there either. He might be on his way out as well. If your a LA fan your hoping the trio stick around for CCL and maybe a trip to the Club World Cup.

I don't know why Henry would retire, he's obviously got at least another good year in him. I have my doubt about Beckham for next year being effective but he's already signed the contract and I think he's too passionate to call it quit.

Beckham isn't going anywhere. He was actually buzzing around out there in the 70th minute when they were still pressing going for a 4th goal. It was the 4th game in 11 days afterall.

Really depends on whether he wants to take another crack at Europe, but he sure looks like he's having a blast out there right now.
