The lack of foul calling against the Raps (specifically Demar) is getting absolutely ridiculous. It's seriously out of hand.

From game 1 Demar has been getting absolutely mugged and hasn't had any calls. It's unreal.

Looks to be a lot of big guys eg. Zeller, Noel. Shabazz Mohammed would be in that group but he might not play ball this year with being ruled ineligible at UCLA.

Nice, we could replace Bargs at the PF spot with one of Zeller or Noel.

If we get a top-3 pick, he'll find a shiny new toy to replace him.

From a outside spectator, This team has a huge identity problem.

They have no superstars, actually they barely have any stars at all.

It's frustrating watching a team with no structure, and no elite talent.

As a huge raptors fan during the vince carter and bosh era (even tho they are both dicks), It's tough watching them now.

Calderon/Lucas is the worst 1/2 PG in the NBA, Lowry needs to be back yesterday......Bargs actually had a decent game, and I absolutely hate Bargs. Derozen must have had sex with all the officials wives because they have a severe hate on for him. As for Coach Casey......to me it seems like he has some real issues with putting the proper personnel on the floor at the right time. He most certainly got out coached tonight. Val had an awesome night and I know he's a rookie, but if your gonna start him, play him down the stretch, there was a few shots of him in the fourth quarter where you could tell he wanted in the game sooooo bad. I thought when the game started Val was gonna have a monster night but once again Casey plays him around 20 minutes. I know his D is questionable at times but his motor/hustle at the end of the game would be awesome to have. Disappointing loss.

Calderon finishes with 13 and 11 (I think) and if you looked at the box score you'd think he had a great game. However, when you watch him you see how he is just so bad at pushing the pace of a game. He takes no risks, never drives the lane or pushes the fast break. He dribbles for 22 seconds and then passes it off and gets an assist. You can tell he hunts for assists. And not to mention how fricking terrible he is on D.

And then Lucas, the mini SG that we play at PG has no conscience about chucking. I miss Lowry.

Shabazz Muhammad would be a nice SF/SG to play over Fields, and put Landry on the bench. It'd make our bench even deeper than it is now, especially if we trade Calderon for a backup PG (who knows his role) + pick/prospect. Maybe it's Fields' "tender" wrist thats causing his struggles so far this season? Hope he picks it up soon, but if we do get Shabazz...

SF - Shabazz Muahammad
PF - Andrea Bargnani
C - Jonas Valanciunas
SG - Demar Derozan
PG - Kyle Lowry

lots of potential.

Disagree to an extent. We have alot of great pieces but we just need one more big piece, unfortunately that piece would be a star.

you add a star SF to this team and it can easily become a great team.

Plus guys we're really early in the season, just lost lowry for 3 games(any team is gonna falter without it's top guy playing. and Lowry is one of the best PG in the league.)

Get him back and we should start to get better, Not to mention it wasnt like we had a super easy schedule, in fact our schedule gets much easier in the next couple weeks.

Apparently, the UCLA programme expects to get Shabazz back reasonably soon. (It's an odd situation. The questionable financial dealings involved an alleged friend of the family paying for a trip to Duke, and it is thought Duke turned Shabazz in!). But a key scout associated with UCLA seem to be warning against overestimating Shabazz.

If the Raps do get to keep the pick, I wouldn't be surprised to see them use it on a Euro.

Maybe if that one piece is Lebron. Adding a Rudy Gay or AI does not turn this team into a contender.

I just don't don't know how that overdressed hipster of a GM still has a job. Is he and the team just so irrelevant to the people of this city, that no one gives a crap. That and if they fired him they would still have to pay him off. This guy is giving everyone a lesson on how to destroy fan interest in a team. Him and TFC should give out PHds in the subject.

Hopefully the hipster will not be selecting that pick.

I agree, I barely watch the Raptors ever since he started drafting all these Euro's that sucked ass. I maybe watch 2 games a year if that, I used to attend games but i'm not wasting money on this product.
