Have you guys seen who Kreider plays with? He constantly is getting passes in his skates, behind him or too far ahead... the low quality of players around him does affect him and his play, no doubt.

Getting a little worried, but not too much yet, over Kreider. He is a goal scorer who isn't scoring goals. Im sure he will break out of the slump he's in but the season is almost a month in now, hoping he breaks out soon.

Just heard a stat... Whale are dead-last in avg. goals against per game in the AHL... Without seeing any numbers, I second that just from seeing every Whale game so far lol
Two completely different situations. Keider was a supporting player in the playoffs, now he's a core member of the team. Plus, he's a known quantity now--coaching staffs have seen him play.

Well, we do have gilroy (while he does suck defensively, he can still mae up for the goals he gives up)

I dont know much about minor league D but are Vernance and Collins not vets with some NHL experience? Did Pyett not have experience too?
Gilroy has played in the NHL. Yea I am sure Niemi, Klassen, Parlett are bubble but the top 4 should not be complete crap and McIlrath will help when healthy
