Saw this thread (link below) and got thinking about who could potentially become McDavid's teammate for the next couple of years. Thoughts on what you think the Otters need to add for next year to complement the core kids ? Always tough to watch your team finish near the basement, but in this case it really could help push the team up for the next 2/3 years.
Still believe he has somewhat of a shot at the scoring title this year. His consistency will eventually allow him to surpass a few people above him, and if he starts getting more multipoint games he should be in the mix. But Galchenyuk, Strome, Schiefele et al will be hard to pass.
He's +4 now, pretty impressive for a 15 year old on a terrible team. He's the only Otter with a positive +/-, everyone else is even to -12. I think it reflects his puck hounding ways, shades of Crosby in the way he hunts the puck down, won't be denied.
Any good player would have helped Conner Brown. It just so happens to be McDavid who is exceptional. It's a shock Conner could still put up 53 points in 68 games last year with absolutely NO ONE good enough to play with him. No player can do it alone no matter how good they are.

Brown is a good player, but obviously getting to play with McDavid is like getting to play with the Sedins
