I believe you are correct, after Miller, Biggs, Noesen, Grimaldi, and Gaudreau the 93 forward group kind of does tail off so with that being said, I personally would love to see Adam Erne make the team, especially if Canada is considering bringing MacKinnon along, I think it would be a good experience for Erne and maybe help out his draft stock.
I think if they consider adding Erne they should also consider adding Danny O'regan, A 94 playing for BU as a true freshman. He was a late edition to the U18 NTDP to help them win World's last spring. A San Jose Draft Pick in the 2012 NHL Draft. He already has 7 pts in 6 games with BU and is playing on the PP. Had 4 pts last weekend against Grimaldi and the Fighting Soo.
Anyone have an opinion of Justin Kloos? It seems like he really flies under the radar despite winning Mr. Hockey in Minnesota and now scoring almost 2 points a game for Waterloo. I thought he should have been drafted at least as a late round flyer but he has clear limitations with his size and top 6 or bust potential. It's good to see him get a chance to play for the US in the World Junior A Challenge and I'd love to hear what anyone here thinks of him as he doesn't seem to receive much attention on the HF boards.

Kloos is very very talented and putting up great numbers this year. It helps that he is on the same line as Cammaratta, so his numbers may be a bit inflated. He like Taylor is a bit undersized (5'9 170) so this maybe why more people arent raving about him. I have seen him twice this year, granted it was preseason, but he should definately be in the top 5 in scoring throughout the season in the USHL.

Yeah it will be interesting to see which players get invited to the December camp and then which players officially make the team.
I'll have to keep an eye on O'Regan and see how he progresses.
Jacob Trouba averaging a PPG so far for Michagan as a freshman and has scored a few highlight reel goals to date. This was a pretty violent hit from this past weekend where he received a game misconduct and missed the next game as well. He is a big time impact player so far.

Well it's great to hear that Trouba is having a good year so far with the Wolverines. If he stays healthy, I can't wait to see him at the World Juniors, possibly paired with Seth Jones, that would be one good pairing and one that is tough to beat.
Kid came out of the US Prep league the same league O'Regan came out of last year. Many great players have come out of the US Prep league without having to go through the USHL. It can be a good option for some.
The U18 team beat Sweden tonight 3-1 to clinch the Four Nations Tournament title. Good team victory by them, especially since they're missing their leader in J.T. Compher.
And for those that aren't aware, USA Hockey rolled out a new site for the NTDP and it's a huge upgrade. Maybe USAH is finally listening to the well deserved criticisms of their notoriously poor website?

I work for the company that designed the new site. I work in the content department so I have nothing to do with design but I must say it is a huge upgrade.
Tony Cameranesi has 5 points in 7 games as a freshman for Minnesota-Duluth.
Anyone care to comment on how he's looked?
I only saw one game with him, but he didn't do anything spectacular. I'll admit I wasn't watching for him, and since it was one game my comment is fairly meaningless anyway so..... you're welcome!
Anything at all on Cameranesi? He has 10 pts in 10 games now for Duluth; he was seen as a long-term project when drafted in 2011 but these numbers are definitely encouraging considering it's his rookie collegiate year.
What are the chances Michael Mersch makes the US WJC team? He has six goals through eight games for the Badgers and has been a force in front of the net. He'd be a great bottom-six guy, no?

edit: What about Nick Shore?
Neither of them are eligible as they're too old. This year's tournament is for '93 and younger players.
