Berts Bar Barbados

Just back from Barbados, here's some pics

About 5 years ago I went to Barbados for march break and went to Bert's every single night. Love that place

I did this in the summer of 2011.

then I had my phone stolen in st. maarten and lost the pics.

I still have my hockey night in barbados t-shirt though.



a couple of things i remember of note:
- a banner on the building next door (facing bert's parking lot) proclaiming it the official carribean headquarters of sens nation.
- a couple of early 90's era sens jerseys signed by the entire team in the display case at the enterance (struck me as strange considering when melnyk bought the team, i remember seeing mceachern and yashin signatures).

My parents went to barbados in the spring and went a couple times. They even brought me back 2 t-shirts from bert's bar. One says has the hockey night in canada logo and says "hockey night in barbados" it's pretty cool. They said they liked it their and saw a couple other sens fans.(i made my parents bring sens gear to wear while they went there).

Edit: Hahaha looks like danishh has the same t-shirt.

I am in Barbados every other week. I've never been to Bert's though. I usually end up at the Boatyard.

Does the Euge hang out there at all?

From time to time...which is basically rarely. He does go there though.

That's crazy. I live in St. Lucia and would never expect there to be a sports bar here like that.
