Can we stop with this asinine ********.

The Vikings losing on purpose was NEVER going to happen. It is akin to fixing games. It's unfortunate that AD got hurt and that we missed out on RGIII but to continually whine about the Vikings winning a game is really annoying.

all we had to do was start playing Gerhart over AP, look its not like its a stretch to suggest you don't want to have peterson hurt with 2 games left.

far from throwing the game, play gerhart over ap

And there's no guarantee we wouldn't have beaten Washington anyway... IF you remember the game Gerhart tore up that washington defense.

Seriously it is a stretch to say you sit a player because you want to protect him for next year. AD is not made of glass, there was no way to know he wouldn't have been hurt.

IF you want a sport with a fixed outcome, I think the WWE is right for you.

Also there's no guarantee we would have picked RG3. I mean seeing him play now its easy to say we would have, but Aside from Jimmy Clausen and the Browns, teams don't just give up on a young QB they picked that quickly.

gophers need at least a field goal on this drive... and going into a 20 yard run they're still at least 1 first down away

Gonna say it again: Bench AP for his own damned good at the end of last year and we probably lose to Washington without actually throwing it.

It's a travesty how little Rudolph has been used lately. I expect him and a returning Carlson to be used a lot more in this game.

It will be a miracle if Ponder gets more than 60 passing yards today with Percy out.

They really need to give it to Peterson this drive. Only 17 carries so far.

Anyone know how Bobby Ryan and Kyle Rudolph know each other? Apparently Rudolph went and gave his touchdown ball to Ryan, and before the game started Ryan said he was in town to watch Rudolph and the Vikings. They did not go to high school or college together, Ryan didn't even go to college, so I'm not sure what's up?

Not exactly sure. I have seen some tweets back and forth. Don't know how they know each other.

The Vikings are stringing fans along with playoff hopes still. Assuming they beat St. Louis (because, well, it's St. Louis) they have 7 wins on the season. Sneak out a win against the Packers or Bears in the next 3 games and they're up to 8 wins. Then if you really look at the schedule, Houston should have nothing left to play for by week 16 and will likely be resting starters and the Packers should have their playoff fate decided by week 17. A 10 win season is still (even with the remaining schedule) way too plausible. I fully expect the Vikings to have a "win and in" game in week 17 and have Graham Harrell carve up the team in the fourth quarter to end the year.
