2-2 at the end of the first. Galchenyuk picked up a goal.
Really slow start from Galchenyuk. Pretty quiet his first couple shifts. He was moving his feet but no really creating any chances. He had a nice little behind the back pass Boucher. His goal came from Dundas doing what he does best, which is creating space in the offensive zone. Dundas came down the wing and feed Galchenyuk. Galchenyuk blasted it home with a hard wrist shot. The next shift he almost had another one from a shot in the slot. He also won a board battle and sent the puck to the front of the net. It was a really sneaky pass.
1 goal, even rating, 2 shots, 2 takeaways.
8 shifts, 5:59 time on ice.
He almost set up Boucher in the slot with a nifty little backhand pass from behind the net, after winning a battle along the boards. I also like his play defensively. He covers his guy at the point very well and I never see the opposing winger passing to the point on Galchenyuk's side. Great positioning.

Cringe worthy turnover from Galchenyuk. Got way too fancy, should have just dumped it back into the zone. Led to a 2 on 0, but apparently the Wolves are slow skaters.

10 game suspension for a hit to the head. He only has one game left to serve.
2-2 at the end of the second. A really great period from Galchenyuk.
He started off the second period with a chance from in close on the PP, but it was saved. He was particularly good on PK. Blocked passing lanes and had a broke up plays. He looked great on the counter attack on the PK as well. Really effective in his own zone tonight. He had a beautiful cross ice feed to DeAngelo too, really creative. However, he had a absolutely terrible turnover trying to hold the zone. He got way too fancy with it and it led to a 2 on 0, but was broken up. He had a nice shift after that where he had a plethora of chances and broke up a play in the offensive zone and set up Boucher who couldn't bury it. At the end him and Dodero got penalties for slashing.

Totals so far: 15 shifts, 12:13 time on ice.
Also had 3 turnovers and 2 takeaways that period, went 1 for 2 in the faceoff circle and took a two minute penalty for slashing, which was off-set by Dodero's two minute slashing penalty, making it a 4-on-4 to end the period.
Lack of discipline and trying to be too fancy that period. Hope he comes back stronger in the 3rd.
He was on the ice for 2:05 that shift. Tried setting up Duinnick, who was pinching on the play, but that failed. Second time was a charm with Boucher, even though the puck sort of left off his stick without him passing it.
