In the limited action I saw Nilsson at the NHL level last season, it was pretty ugly for the most part.

Again, I'm just happy that Nelson and Nino are finding the back of the net. If those guys can sustain their early season success, we have a couple of gems at forward, not to mention Strome leading the OHL in points.
anders had no buisness being call up last yerar..he clearly wasnt ready...when he is watch out..i think poulin is good but i agree he rebound control and and his nconsistency caching the puk is what will keep him from being a very good nhler

I haven't been able to follow the sound tigers as much as some of you guys, but I must say I am glad to see what Nelson is doing there. Sounds like he is making a fast transition. Also, I just looked on the BST website and apparently Kabanov has only played 4 games. Is he injured?

He fell and cut his forearm in a game. He had surgery, but the team's saying he'll make a complete recovery.

He hadn't been racking up pts at the time of the injury, but he was playing well.

Kabanov was producing when he was on a line with Nelson and Nino.... they had real good chemistry together. Then, for whatever reason the coaching staff decided to split them up and I think they all suffered a bit for it. Now Nino is back on a line with Nelson and they're both lighting it up again.

Stream for today's game. Taken from Punxrocknyc19 on the Rangers board.

EDIT: Doesn't seem to be working.

I paid for a stream from the AHL site.

Cizikas in the locker room, now Nelson is shaken up.

BPT down 3-1, two goals by Michael Haley.

Honestly, BPT is playing well.... those two turnovers killed them though.

Bridgeport tied it up after goals from Nelson and Hammer.

Nino and Nelson with the assists on Hammer's goal. Nino and Nelson are killing it thus far.

What a comeback by Bridgeport, down 3-1, 5 min PK and reply with 2 PP goals. Impressive. But these matchups are always exciting to follow.

FYI --- not watching the game, no streams and the Bridgeport radio doesn't seem to work, had to resort to tuning into WCCC (CT Whale) radio :/

Still an exciting game to follow, do hope Niemi is alright.

Nelson's development seems to be ahead of schedule. Ryan Strome should be looking over his shoulder for that #2C spot on the Isles. Great problem to have.

lol, Bridgeport getting one powerplay after another in this third period. Whale helping out too with a too many men on ice pen.

Halmo scores! Really exciting game even if I'm only listening to it on the radio.

3 unanswered goals give the Tigers a 4-3 win.

Wasn't much of a scrap. Persson might have landed 1 and Jean threw a punch and missed and fell down

Now if only the Islanders had less problems

Seriously, its good to see your team getting back on track. I think this prolonged NHL lockout might be just the thing for your young stars to get real development. Nino, Nelson, Strome all coming in with strong numbers (hopefully Strome being able to make a smooth transition). I'm a personal fan of Kichton, so I think he might be a darkhorse for your roster next year as a stable #6 offensive D for you.

Kinda wish they had Kichton right now.
