called off = postponed. I had the fog game from Boston from 87 or 88 in mind (drawing a blank on the year), which eventually ended up being called off/postponed. Granted this was a different league, but I've seen numerous ECHL games called off because of gouges in the ice from playing back to back games.
but back on topic, will Fisher/Underwood NOT be married? Yeah, I'll take that bet. High profile marriages aren't exactly known for lasting in most cases, but I wish them the best (lol, need to cover myself so I don't look like too much of a jerk)
4:1 Patrick Roy is named the next coach of the Colorado Avalanche.
Leave it.
And sticking with that theme.
Therrien is fired and either Carbonneau or Roy replace him as coach within the next two seasons,
Close, but I'll pass on that one. Too many other possible outcomes.
A team other than Russia, Canada, USA or Sweden strikes Hockey Gold at the Olympics. (10:1)
Leave it. Although the fact that there's no end date to this makes me think twice. Who knows what Finland or Czech will look like in 20 years but except for 98 when Hasek was a god no other nation has won hockey gold (Great Britain winning in the 50's doesn't count lol). As long as the NHL keeps sending players (which I know is no guarantee but I can't see them stopping) those 4 nations will always be favoured.
A woman refs an NHL game (ref or linesman) within the next 5 years (3:1)
EDIT: Don't think this has happened yet, if it has my bad... free "money" lol

Lol leave it. I'd leave it at 300:1.
Referees and linesmen are graduated into the show through the AHL and make it there through ECHL, CHL, etc. I don't think there are any females working at those levels, never mind the A.
Mike Babcock coaches the 2014 Canadian Olympic team.

2:1
Take it. Coaches the best playing style for the Olympics among Canadian coaches IMO.
I'll take it, there're always a few break out players every year.
6:1 Jarome Iginla gets traded before Luongo does.
Leave it. Don't see the Flames shopping him nearly as much as the nucks will be with Lou, could be traded mid season/deadline but Lou will likely be shipped out asap.
A fan get's fed up with this lockout posturing, kills Bettman and Fehr, ends the lockout and is hailed as a hero (100:1)

5:1 - Olli Jokinen fights Jarome Iginla in their first game against eachother
lol, no. leaving it.
10:1 Since BizNasty has discovered some scoring ability in the EIHL, once his NHL contract runs out, Biz will sign a one-year contract with Cardiff or another EIHL team.

Leave it. He could get into a better league for that.
25:1 - RNH will have 100 assists in a season at some point of his career.
Take it. I can see Sid, Ovechkin, or perhaps a member of the Rangers if they were to win the Cup.
40:1 an ECHL city (can be former or current) is granted the next NHL expansion team.
Note: former ECHL city may also include an ECHL city that now is home to an AHL team.
Pass. Only one I'd logically see is Charlotte, and that's only as temp housing for Carolina if something happens to their place in Raleigh. The argument could be made for Utah as well, but 30 is a nice round number that shouldn't be changed.
20:1 Kansas City sees an ECHL level or above team occupy Sprint Center by end of the decade.
