Is it just me or has DeSean Jackson been a ghost for a while? He never seems to make those huge game changing plays like he did a few years ago. Defenses know how to shut him down now.

Not only that, we haven't had a QB that knows how to throw around or pass defense or how to even protect the QB to even throw the ball right.
Not that people didn't know this, but after each week, it's becoming more apparent just how important McNabb, Jim Johnson, and Dawkins were to Andy Reid.
I miss Randall Cunningham, Herschel Walker, Brian Mitchell, Duce Staley, Jeremiah Trotter, Fred Barnett, Vai Sikahema, Reggie White, Jerome Brown and Brian Dawkins.

I would argue that only holds true for Johnson and Dawkins.
I expect this offseason they'll clean house... Reid, Vick, Bell, Dunlap, Nmadi and Babin are all potential cuts that give us the cap flexibility to completely rebuild our offensive and defensive lines through a combination of the draft, free agency and trades.

It would figure that they are plummeting toward their first top-10 pick since...when exact?...and its in one of the worst draft classes of the past decade.
A whole bunch of promising projects on the Dline, but many, no superstars. Most of the best o-line prospects are interior lineman.

Meh.
They need a guard considering Watkins is a bust. And if Mudd is gone, you could see a guy like Mathis not fit the new mold, since he's a Mudd guy. The O-line may be needing a total revamp though if Peters, Kelce, and Herrimans aren't the same after their injuries.
Ugh. This team will not be good for a while, whoever the new coach is.
I am always an optimist. I know they don't look well right now, but Nick Foles will get time with first stingers this week during practice, and most likely longer because the degree of Vick's concussion. I have been a Foles advocate since the beginning of the season, also loved him in college ball. So I am extremely excited to see what he can do with more time and preparation with 1st teamers.
Now with a rookie quarterback and a horrible defense, we might see a top 10 pick. There is a couple of excellent OL possibilities to draft if we do select there. Chance Warmack(Alabama), Luke Joeckel(Texas A&M), Johnathan Cooper(North Carolina). They should all go within the top 12-15 if they all announce they will go into the draft.
Now there is always the free agent route. Jake Long(no chance of the Dolphins letting him go) so he is a no go. Clady(denver), Albert(KC), Vollmer(NE), Moore(NYJ), and Levitre(Buff), might be available. Some of those players might get the franchise tag, but a couple of those lineman should be available. If Peters, Herramans, and Kelce all come back strong, add one of the prospects and free agents, we could have a good line again.
We need everything on defense haha, so you guys can discuss that. Safeties, another OLB, and another DE.
Also Mike Wallace is a possibility to become a free agent, and he would be a perfect receiver for Foles to build chemistry with.
I understand that most likely none of this has any chance of coming true, but we have to think the Eagles front office is looking at all possibilities right about now with the current state of the team.

I agree. No way they pay namdi 14 million next year. Add DRC to that list too, he will probably get out via free agency.
