It'll always be 'pop'

I swear in Casino Royale there is a scene with the girl crying in the shower? Is it a replay?

crying girls are hard to deal with usually. it's just a chance to show off Bond's special powers.

Not really. The one in casino royale is the girl freaking out about watching someone die.
In Skyfall its her thinking her chance to get out of this life she's living has died. Not nearly as emotional, more of a "Hey i'm taking a shower...oh man this really sucks" compared to the look of sheer horror on Vesper's face in Casino Royale.

Yeah pretty much.

Hey DC, what did you think about all the humor injected into it? I was not expecting as many jokes as there were, and was definitely not expecting to laugh at most of them. I'm not a huge Bond fan, but I didn't think there were a lot of funny moments in the other movies.

I liked the humor in that it served as a tie in (along with a ton of other stuff that happened (I won't spoil it for people)) to the old bond movies, all the bonds up until the Daniel Craig bonds had some humor in them (some more than others, Roger Moore's movies always seemed to have more humor than the rest). So I liked that they were able to bridge that gap without seeming forced and trying too hard. The humor flowed naturally and was very 'bond-like' to me. Some of the Brosnan movies had some pretty groan inducing humor..

Also loved Javier Bardem, just a great villain.
And that final scene where Bond walks in, nearly got goosebumps there from my fanboyism. I also enjoyed the poke at Goldeneye with the exploding pen.
Also my god this film had some gorgeous scenes, I could've had that shanghai building scene last for 3 hours, suuuch a cool looking scene.

On another note the main issue I had with this movie is it pretty much killed my favorite fan theory, that James Bond is not one single person, but a code name they can apply to different secret agents as they come and go. This movie gives way more backstory to Bond than we've really known, and most of that pretty well squashes that idea (unless you want to get really conspiracy theorist there).

You want to know a ****** weekend?

Had scheduled maintenance on one of our servers for yesterday. Was planned to start at 8:30am yesterday morning and be finished by 10:30am yesterday. We turned the server (DL380) off to configure the ILO. With that we were upgrading VMWare from 4.0 to 5.1. There were 2 failing hard drives on separate RAIDs, this should be no big deal. Upon turning VCenter on we noticed that 4 servers were not present. It did not recognize that the servers were ever there. What was supposed to take 2 hours has now taken 14 hours and counting. Good times.

Those servers didn't happen to be supporting Yahoo's fantasy sections did they?

Hope everyone's behaving.

- Ordered my iPhone 5. Yes. Two weeks.

- Had a promising interview this morning.

- Bruised the hell out of my hand on a draw last night. But team got the first win of the season.

- It's pure ice out there right now. Wonder if the lady who was riding her brakes UP the hill had seen snow before? Hint: KEEP MOVING. Damn near ran me off into a school bus on one side and a semi on the other.

Okay, back to marathon Fallout: New Vegas.

Tried to run an errand this morning, and had a derp moment when I realized that federal offices are closed today because of veterans day being yesterday.

Derp.

Back to Unreal.

Not to be "that guy" or anything, but weren't you complaining about not having enough money for rent or something to that effect? No offense but an iPhone 5 would have been the last thing on my mind.

I am taking my time through Halo 4.

Contrary to every other Halo game, I just went ahead and started this one on Legendary... screw easy mode...

Plus, as with 343's ODST, I can't seem to play for extended periods before my light sensitivity kicks up a notch...
