Philippe Maillet, the Victoriaville Tigres forward, had an exceptional offensive week with 8 points, including 3 goals in 2 games, both won by his team. Friday, against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, the 20-year-old veteran brought the fans at the Colisée Desjardins to their feet more than once with a superb 5-point performance, thwarting the opposing goaltender, 3 times. It was his 4th career game with 5 points or more, which earned him the 1st star. Saturday, against the formidable Halifax Mooseheads, the Maillet-Miceli-Rehak trio collected a total of 9 points with Maillet recording 3 assists and being named the 3rd star of the game.…
