I guess that's my point. Those guys have considerably lower grades (excepting Warmack) than the top O-Line prospects in most other years, no?

Doesn't it seem like that's the case any time a Philly team gets a top 5 pick? I just look at JVR and Evan Turner.

Warmack is a 96 according to Espn's rankings. Joeckel is a 94 along with Cooper. They would be an upgrade IMO to what we have protecting the quarterback right now.

There really isn't as much OL as there had been the last few years I believe, but the kids coming out(if they do) they should be good players.

I guess I'm just thinking back to previous years when even the "project" tackles carried a higher grade--e.g., 2011: T. Smith (95); 2010: T. Williams (95), R. Okung (96); 2009: J. Smith (97) A. Smith (95), E. Monroe (96).

It's just a weak draft class overall--at least in terms of elite talent. The guys who will end up going 5-10 would usually be the kind of guys you get at 10-20, etc.

At this point, if we end up around 5 and he's there, I think I'd just prefer they take Te'o. I just don't see a lot of franchise-type players at the top of the chart.

Lewan from Michigan is someone else to watch. The strength of this draft is on the Defensive Line. Absolutely stacked group if most of the guys enter the draft. The safety class is deep. There isn't an absolute stud but a lot of good ones. Some talented receivers but again no one head and shoulders above the rest. QB class is meh. RB class is gross.

I'll wait until I see who's running the team next year. How they change schemes and such. If they switch to a 3-4, you are going to need a rush LB, a NT, 5 techniques, etc. But its a little early to be talking about this. They could **** it up like they did last year and win out.

there a few really good tweeners this draft. just not sure they will be high enough to get one if indeed they do change defense.

Yep. Lots of tweeners and good pass rushers. This is a good draft for a team transitioning into a 3-4. I hate playing the what if game. I believe in jinxes.

If I'm the Eagles I try and grab Manti Te'o. I'm sure many many teams are gunning for him. Some good back ups and Gerald Hodges or Mike Mauti out of Penn State. Sean Lee was doing awesome for the Cowboys and both Hodges and Mauti are just as good.

How is Kurt Coleman still in the NFL? If someone can give me one legitimate answer, I'll be impressed.

you can tell the team has completely quit on Reid. seriously how long does the losing streak last until he gets the axe. especially in blowout fashion.
