That movie drives me nuts. A bit too disjointed for me but I loved Hugh Grant in it and I'm a sucker for the song and they did a great job with it. All I want for Christmas is you and you and youuuuu!

I like it because all the characters are connected to each other - and the speech Hugh Grant gives after he catches the President with the assistant - 'David Beckham's right foot, David Beckham's left foot for that matter' - that's my favorite part of the movie. And the looks Alan Rickman gives 'Mr. Bean' while he's wrapping the Christmas present are priceless.

So many good British actors all in one film - a total joy to watch.

I have no shame in admitting I enjoy a decent chick flick or two, and I do own Love Actually on DVD. Great movie. Ridiculous, but very fun. Plus it's cool to see Andrew Lincoln in that, then compare it to his role in the Walking Dead

I've complimented a couple guys on classic track jackets, but they always get creeped out...so I stopped

The Raid traps work wonders. It's too late in the year for it now, but I always sprinkle Ortho perimeter powder or granules down around the foundation of the house in the spring. It works pretty damn good for all insects too. Spiders still fill the garage inside and out, but I can live with that.

I had to submit a work order to maintenance since they are coming from the ceiling and door. I'm going to get a few traps and put them in my room and in the hall tho. Also going to get a can of spray for "spot" treatment lol.

I'll definitely suggest the powder to the maintenance guy for the spring. Thanks!!

Don't mind me, I'll just sit here all day thumping my chest, pounding beers and watching TV shows about monster trucks.

I lied, I'm watching Bob the Builder.

Relish in the days when you can actually control what shows she watches. Soon enough, the 16th season of Jersey Shore will be on in the other room, or downstairs, and you'll have to yell at her to turn that drivel off.

I miss Bob the Builder.

When does the Christmas radio start? I am a sucker for it.

I wonder if there will be any other station besides WROR doing it and WODS is dead.

I've already tuned in to DirecTV channels 801 & 815 for my holiday music fix. Haven't heard anything on regular radio stations yet.

I'm not criticizing you guys at all. Lots of people love that movie. It's just that most of them don't posses testicles on their personage.

So stop being so overly sensitive

True. It's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Thomas the Train just about all day. I can tolerate it in small amounts though, it could be a lot worse.

Jokes and jokes and jokes and jokes. Spaghetti spaghetti spaghetti.

Legit though, I like a lot of sad crappy movies. I may or may not have purchased the Notebook, Must Love Dogs, and Serendipity. I can't do all of them though, like the new chick flicks with Channing Tatum and the like...nope.

I was never into the Michael Bay style either. I like a story and/or a movie that makes you think. Explosions don't do it for me. Not in the Michael Bay sense anyway

I'll cash in my man card for Serendipity. Love that movie.

Also, as a married man, I've suffered through my fair share of chick flicks over the years. Most were epically bad. The Notebook made me want to punch someone in the face. The worst recent one I've struggled through lately was The Vow with your fav, Channing Tatum. Easily the worst movie next to Eat. Pray. Love. I've ever seen. The only way it could have gotten worse was if Katherine Heigl was in it.

My wife and I rotate movie choices every other week. 2 weeks ago my choice was the remake of True Grit. Great movie. Great acting. Great story. Well worth checking out. Her choice this past weekend was We Bought a Zoo. It was okay, but certainly had some chick flick moments, and I clearly was not the target audience. This week is all me, so I may force her to watch Thor just out of spite.
