There are very few players I would put on a "will not trade them" list.
Karlsson, Spezza, Alfy.
We'd need to have an Edler-calibre player up front, and Michalek isn't enough to merit moving him, imo. Maybe if we got a defenseman from somewhere else it could happen, but otherwise I don't think it would work.
Devils would be looking for a young NHL ready forward....Colin Greening?
What specifically are your needs? We have a plethora of bottom six forwards with different skill sets.
Depending on need Condra or O'brien may be a better fit for you.

We have two spots, one in our top six and one on our third line. Ideally, we won't promote one of the fourth liners, and we have Tedenby, Butler, Parse, and some longshots fighting for two of those spots. We need a guy that will be able to play sound third line minutes but hopefully he can be a top-six guy, Greening is our best bet.

3.375 expires after the 2013-2014 season. So he's a UFA next off season. His value is a bit questionable amongst many, but I personally think his value is probably Greening and a third, or a pick around there. With what second pairing defenseman have been traded for recently (Zidlicky, Quincey, Gill, Oduya), it's pretty fair for market value. Arguably a second would be more like market value.
Would you guys be interested in Raphael Diaz...26 year old who had his rookie season last year. Not bad defensively but not good yet (probs average) and can contribute offensively, will only get better with time but keep in mind he entered the NHL at an older age than usual. He's been used as a 3rd pairing and sometimes 2nd
I don't think Ottawa is in a great position to give up any NHL talent, but they do have one of the deeper prospect pools in the league, and some of those pieces could be used as trade bait.

i would want Ottawa to go after Mark Streit. but could be get via UFA at the end of the year, so I wouldnt trade anything
'too big" for him.
If it comes for cheap with stipulations, if he signs, i wouldnt mind making a pitch to NYI... assuming there's a season.
As long as it's an equal talent coming back at forward(so not a quantity for quality deal), I could see another forward-defenseman swap go on between us. Savard is probably looking the most expendable at this point but I could see any one of Moore/Erixon/Savard/Goloubef/Prout moved if the deal is right, but with the way Springfield is playing defense makes me want to see a couple of those guys up in Columbus rather than somewhere else.
I doubt the Sens would give up anything more than a 3rd or middling prospect for defensive help. As in, no one that would play top 4 (or should play top 4). Even that, I doubt we make a move. We have Karlsson, Methot and Phillips who would be able to play top 4... also there is no way Gonchar is allowed to remain in Russia so him too. Then we have Lundin, Benoit, Weircioch, Boro, Gryba and Eckford, all of whom I feel comfortable with in 6-7 roles... maybe one guy steps up to be a good #5.
Basically, there is no need for us to trade Greening or even O'Brien or Condra to shore up the D. Unless we make a move for a long-term top 4 I have no real interest. If we could get Hjalmarsson for a 2nd I'd do that, I'd add in a bottom 6 fwd if need be, but really that's about it. In a shortened season you just rely on the sum of the parts.
7th D-man for awesome 3rd line centre + 2nd rounder
Get real
Awesome 3rd line center?
Are we talking about the same Regin who has chronic shoulder issues, is below average in the faceoff circle, doesn't play physical/big, has very limited offensive upside, has never been used as a regular PKer and overall is to easy of a player to play against?
