Sakic or Sundin

I love Cap Clutch and 1378 625 1016 1641 is an impressive all time stat line

but Mats needs more love 1346 564 785 1349

and he didn't have Forsberg and other stars supporting him like Joe did.

I think when you see Sundin play at the olympics you get a chance to see what he can do with talented line mates, even if he is playing against the world's best D.

Sakic is the best player on the list offensively. He's also the best player on the list defensively.

This is Sakic without a second thought.

And to everyone saying "My team needs a goalscorer", Sakic also had probably if not conclusively the best wrister of all time and scored 18 goals in the playoffs in one run.

This ones not even remotely close.

Sometimes your goal scorer needs to have knee issues and a complete lack of defensive ability.

Sundin was my childhood hero and its pretty close but I'd take Sakic for the Blues.

Through magic, they're just starting their careers now, so they're young and healthy again. And you get to pick ONE for your favorite team. Who would you pick, and why? Mention what team they're going to, please!

Note: Expect their development, production and durability to remain the same as it was for them the first time around.
Lol. Coincidence? I think not!

If we could have Vancouver Bure on the Rangers, that'd be a dream come true. Plus, we all need something to forget his subpar years here.

Sakic.

For those of you saying Bure cause you want a goal scorer, go look at Sakic wrist shot highlights.

Sakic is the BPA.

The other three are all good choices depending on team need. Oates is the best playmaker and faceoff man, and was always solid defensively; probably better career-wise than Sakic who took ten years of NHL hockey to start playing a solid defensive game.

Bure has definite advantages; if you have no go-to goal scorer, Bure is a great pick because while Sakic could put them in, Bure WOULD put them in. Career average per-82? 51 goals. Only Lalonde, Malone, Bossy, and Lemieux have posted better while playing at least 20 games in their careers.

Sundin's best advantage is that he was harder to get off of the puck than Sakic, while only giving up a little bit of offense. Defense is the big difference. On a strong team that's good defensively, Sundin or Bure might be a better bet.

Bure because he'd look good on Spezza's wing.

Sakic, without even thinking twice. He'd teach Morrow a thing or two about being a true leader.

I'd been wanting to see Bure on the Penguins since he came into the NHL, and I still would especially with Sid or Malkin. We don't need another center on the Pens.
