In Hackett's defense, goal #2 was a cross crease pass, backdoor tip in short handed. Sounds like the Wellman goal just beat him and I don't know what the first goal was. San Antonio isn't getting shots, but when they do they're legit chances.

Ooooooh. Now it makes sense. I was going "Tuesday at 11:30AM? Are you kidding me?".

But if it was scheduled and promoted specifically to get schools to send field trips to it, then I get it. And it seems to be working.

Noted. They still have to load up the busses and get the kids back to school before the end of the school day.

And beauty of a goal that was.

Yeah. Houston does it as well. Schools get free tickets to come out to the game. Schools provide the food and beverage.

The AHL franchise gets new fans.

My niece-in-law became a hockey fan down in Rockford after a school day. She begs her parents to let her go with us to any IceHogs game when we are in town. There was a small "Mo-splosion" when she found out about an hour after we left town one weekend, that we were there, and went to TWO Icehogs games...

Zucker has one too! Well, I guess that's just more or less what happens every game though (he has goals in 4 straight).

Maybe Bulmer's goal will jump start his production. I could definitely see him over thinking while adjusting to a new team in a new league. Seeing some of his fellow rookies doing well isn't doing anything to help his confidence either. He is just trying to find his roll on the team and it might take longer than other players, besides scoring really isn't his game, but I would like to see around a 0.5ppg pace.
