Koivu and Kessel are still at least 10 games away from being healthy and now Connolly gone for 32 games. I think I went 5-2 in the sim. I guess I'm a way better manager than a player.
That simulation ****ed me up. Think I gained 3-5 points total. Went from 2nd to 7th, really got to gain some ground. Only positive is whole team being healthy.
I really hope a guy like Kreider grows better next season. I like his play style but I him to have better attributes.
since there is little chance of me getting into the playoff picture this year.. I think for the rest of the season I am going to call up some prospects and give them a shot to see how they do.. at least for this next block anyway.. something needs to spark the team..
WOW! Ducks take a penalty with 43 seconds left. Up 1-0. CBJ pull the goalie, ducks miss 3 shots on the empty net, Nikitin picks up the puck in his own end skates down the ice throws it on net, hiller kicks out a rebound, umberger throws it back on net, hiller kicks it back out to a wide open dubinsky with a gaping net in front of him and rips it past Hiller to tie it 1-1 with only 6.4 seconds to go! And then in OT after a nice glove save by mason umberger makes a beautiful pass back door to a streaking Tyutin who picks up the puck on a mini breakaway, fakes inside gets Hiller to pokecheck and then goes back outside.
Much needed win by the BJ's. Pulled myself out of last place now if I can just string a few W's together I can hopefully slowly move up. I guess putting them all on the block lit a fire under their *****

Shut out the Ducks in a confidence boosting game, then outplay the Sens but lose in OT thanks to an extremely bogus goal, the puck defied laws of physics to somehow bounce upwards off Price's pad with enough back spin to arch over his head and end up in the net...
