I enjoy having a few drinks on occasion. The buzz is pleasant and I actually like the taste of beer and some of the harder stuff. I don't like losing control and getting completely drunk anymore, however.

Completely respect the opinions of those who would rather not imbibe, though. For me, it's a social and fun thing. As drunky as this sounds, yes, sometimes slightly drunken Rock Band with my wife is more fun than stone sober Rock Band with my wife.

Don't get me wrong, I drink. A few beers while shooting pool or throwing some darts is definitely up my alley. I think that's where my difference is from a lot of others, though. I always saw drinking as a complement to another activity. Going out to play some pool would be the main activity, while having a few drinks on the side would complement it. A lot of my friends were the other way around and just wanted to go out specifically to drink. I just never found that fun.

Yeah, I don't hate on anyone who chooses not to. Totally personal choice.

I DO get annoyed if people start in with the 'You get hammered so you're dumb' stuff though.

Don't get me wrong, I do drink socially to the point of getting buzzed.

I just don't see why I need to wake up the following morning with a huge hangover not remembering what stupid thing I did/said the night before. Some people are angry drunks, some are funny drunks...but I just don't see the point of it.

I rarely get there. Once in a while, but then I regret it for 3 days after and remind myself why I don't get that far often. :p

No regrets here. How else would I have so many pictures of me posing inside people's bathtubs? (That's my thing when I'm drunk.)

I embrace the dumb stuff I do, like jumping off docks in January, and going into full on 'I love you guys' mode.

But I killed a 30 rack of PBR on Labor Day (HIPSTER ALERT!!), and I was hungover for two days. That sucked.

Getting drunk to the point of disabled got old quick once I graduated college. Besides, I only really drank to get rid of inhibitions anyways.

Nowadays I could go months without a drink. I don't really mind it. I don't drink in the presence of my son. While I still enjoy alcohol, I'm starting to head into the more "cultured" part of drinking, as in drinking to enjoy, not as a means to an end.

Although now that I'm single again....

Yeah, I've used that one before -- not directly, but anecdotal.

Same, I never touch alcohol when my kids are awake. Usually I have a beer or two on Friday night and maybe 5 or 6 with my buddies on Saturday. That's enough to get me pleasantly buzzed. It's actually more than I used to drink when I was in college but now I have a full time job and two little kids (soon to be 3) so I like to unwind a bit on the weekends.

Everyone should have a blind drunk, don't remember what happened, throwing up the next day bender at least once in their life I think though. It's about the experience. Luckily I always had my wife around to keep me (somewhat) under control in those situations.

That's cold PK. And you wonder why I don't go into that Rogue Den.

I don't suck, my imaginary friends think I am as cool as Derek Roar.
