Since he's injured does that mean he can hang out at the Rangers facility and use their equipment/doctors, or does that only work if he was injured before the lockout

Since he's heading to NY I assume that means he can use their facilities and all, but just wondering

No surgery needed.

Larry Brooks ‏@NYP_Brooksie
Unclear as to extent of shoulder injury Hagelin sustained couple weeks ago but told that no surgery is required.

Didnt this happen a while ago? Why is there no diagnosis yet? Does it take them 2 weeks to read an MRI over there?

Glad hes back in the states for rehab.

Not a official release but talked to a guy who met DZ few days ago, he said that he has an invitation for the Team Canada at the Spengler-Cup, if lockout won't be over until then.

Possibly it could be the mri results that led to the decisions to return to NY?

Doesn't really bode well for the optimists that players are still heading overseas...

Just stay healthy, Stepan

Stepan playing center on the first line today with Kalpa. Wingers are one of the better FEL players Sakari Salminen, and potential 1 rounder of the 2013 draft Artturi Lehkonen.

That mask is amazing. Love that he kept the Rangers symbol on there.

translate says L's are shots played 24 minutes though! that's a plus. means the kid is still in shape

pretty sure it says he has 1 goal as well

edit: yep, 1 goal in 3 shots. 24m played. not bad at all

Send a message via Skype™ to BBKers
Hagelin will be in NYC until December now while his shoulder heals
No more SSK in November for him
But SSK added a couple of interesting defensemen recently

Jonathan Ericsson (also a SSK product originally) is there now
Niklas Grossman (who comes from the SSK organisation) and our old buddy Cam Fowler are also set for SSK now
Matt Read is still there too albeit also nursing a minor injury that is keeping him from play

Pierre LeBrun ‏@Real_ESPNLeBrun
Agent Pat Brisson says client Cam Fowler of the Anaheim Ducks has signed with Sodertajle (Sweden) and is leaving today
My brother is active with the NHL crowd it seems
5 NHLers is the most any Swedish team has signed during the lockout. They missed Wandell & Kopitar though ...

You can watch Derek Stepan in action from tuesday's Pelicans - KalPa game highlights: Clickety click (too fancy attempt @ 02:40)

I'd say it was a tad bit rusty start for Stepan but it was pretty much expected. First game, a new league, the depressing atmosphere of church quiet Pelicans Isku Arena etc. His defensive effort was lacking at times but I liked everything else I saw. Playing with Sakari Salminen (our very own Patrick Kane, it's incomprehensible that he's not playing in NHL yet) guarantees many goals to come. KalPa is facing TPS from Turku on thursday (players you might be familiar with: Mikko Koivu, Petteri Nummelin, Lauri Korpikoski, Alec Martinez, Antero Niittymäki.)

Brandon Dubinsky broke a finger playing in the ECHL. He will miss 6 weeks. Overhardt said Dubinsky its a finger on the same hand he broke in 09 buts it a different finger. This is what you don't need. Hagelin is participating in Richards event to raise $ for Sandy victims. From: @cotsonika

Locked-out NHLers go to Europe to stay in shape and stay sharp. I saw some play hard. But in the end, their goal is to play well elsewhere.
