Much needed win against BOS. I say this because I need a win to boost my spirits, if I need to tank in order to get the 1st overall pick and my choice of Kikuts or Koistenen (both are projected to have 5 star potential and I've already scouted Kikuts and he has green 5 star potential) I will do it.
Im so mad i loss that second game. That third goal was such ******** but both games were super tight. Cant believe i let that mursak ****face get a hatrick. Mason played on his head both games though!
Yes we're still doing an All Star Game. I'm just waiting until after this sim period to finalize the rosters. The plan is to do it all Friday night. It might be hard though with everyone's availability.
I think i'll put out an official "All Star Roster" but i doubt all of those 12 GMs will be online Friday night. What will most likely happen, is that all of the GMs that are online will most likely get a chance to play in the game.
I have TWO Bio Tests Friday morning so i'm not doing anything league related Thursday night (or playing real hockey unfortuantely) but i'll post everything Friday morning around this time.
Whats the schedule gonna look like over the Thanksgiving weekend?
I am gonna go to my parents for at least that thursday and friday.. so I wont have my xbox..
I'm sure other people may be in a similar boat..
are we going to just extend that blocks schedule time?
I'm aware that there is atleast one, possibly two 5 star prospects in this draft. I'm not singling anyone out, its impossible to anyway with so many teams in such close contention for the 1st and 2nd overall pick.
Tanking: Any GM caught "Tanking" or trying to lose games on purpose, will be removed from the league, no questions asked.
This is a videogame, not the real NHL. You're not trying to make money and rejuvenate a bad hockey market. You're goal is to build and maintain a team that can win the Stanley Cup. If you're not trying to do this, then you dont belong in this league.

I should be advancing the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving. Since i'm sure a lot of people are going to be away, i'll extend the Sim Period from 3 days to 4 days, advancing again Sunday night (November 18th).

That's sweet - just to gloat I was on the #1 ranked team in 2009 EASHL back when it was hardcore.
Just letting people know now that I don't know what my availability will be over Thanksgiving. I'm on break all of next week, so I'm gonna be back home from the 16th to the 25th. If I can find room in my luggage, I'm gonna try and bring my XBox home with me, but even then, I won't have a direct plug-in to my Internet box like I do here, so I'd be using a wireless network bridge with my lap top, thus creating the possibility my connection could be inconsistent. I had the bridge thing set up over the summer and I very rarely had any issues with it, but I'm just letting you know that if my computer decides to hate the wi-fi signal, that could happen. Also, I'd be going from my 38 inch HD tv here to a 13 inch tube tv at home, so expect my playing ability to decrease.
