I like the maps there is a good mix of bigger open maps and also some nicer small colse combat maps. Compared to MW3, BLOPS2 blows it away. So far IMO blops and blops2 are side by side with each other. I'll wait till they do the patches to give a final comparison

Agreed. I'm loving these maps. Even better than BLOPS1 even.
I have only played like 9 or 10 of the maps , and they are all amazing. I remember like the first day or 2 of MW3, I didn't like the maps at all, and thought to myself " I got a bad feeling about this game".
Anyhow the Type 25, seems like the 'ACR' of the game so far.
I've got a question. I've seen many videos of players using a laser on their gun. Are the enemies able to see the laser as well? I would assume that it gives away your position if they can see it.
Man, if I got to level 10 after only 1 hour of gameplay I think I could hit prestige pretty easily when double XP kicks in.

I don't think so.

Does that mean the ACR was bad because I use the Type 25 and it's solid but I'm sure there are better guns.

Nuketown is the ****ing best. Just went 47-6 and followed it up with 53-15.
I HATE the horrible grenade trajectory. Its pathetic. I loved grenades in mw2 and 3. But I can't use these. I'm just going to take them off my classes. Other grievance is that Hijacked sucks.
Loving the multiplayer so far, from the beginning I like it more than MW3.
For anyone playing the campaign, is anyone else getting incredibly frustrated with those "defend the objective" side missions? Any tips from those that have been successful? I'm having a hard time simply grasping the basic concept on making it work. I just ended up skipping them to get through to the main story.
I was hoping they might include Kino as a zombies map, I really miss the older basic zombies maps. Oh well, guess ill pay 30 bucks for it when it comes out as dlc. Anyone got any tips or strats for Tranzit?
Am I the only one who finds it incredibly hard to kill anyone, and incredibly easy to die? I might just be my internet connection, but I have absolutely sucked all day. For example my score per minute for the week when I stopped playing black ops 1 yesterday was about 350. It is 205 on BO2. And I have a negative K/D! I need to pull up my socks here.

That's the way it was with MW3. It seemed like you put everything into them for them to die, but in the kil cam you get shot once.
There's a pistol in this game that's broken Kills you faster than any primary...

Experiment with different weapons, attachments, perks etc. There is wayyy more options out there than any other CoD for loadouts. The first few days just get used to the maps, don't rush around too much.
Just logged 2 hours, gonna call it quits for the night.
I honestly raged more in those 2 hours than total playing time in MW3. I'm not blaming the game or anything, I just feel like others are feeling, I plug 3 or 4 shots into an enemy and it feels like I get killed in one. I really need to get a hang of the maps though.
I think the MTAR is better than the Type 25, and that's the AR I'll be running for now.
The MP7 is absolute ****, I'm going to need to find a good SMG that I can run with.
The game seems a lot smoother, and the graphics are great. Looking forward to logging back on tomorrow, and checking out the campaign.
