I'm a big fan of my Warrior Pro Carry. A little on the high end of the pricing scale though at ~$100. Great deal on Bauer's new Premium carry bags; plenty of room at a good price.
Also liking what Easton's putting out as their EQ Pro carry model as well as CCM's newest U+Pro and U+08 bags.
I always had a hard time fitting all my gear, clothes, shower stuff etc etc in a normal sized bag, so I went out and bought a "smaller" sized goalie bag. Smart move on my part imo.
I have the cheapest CCM you can get, I guess V04. No wheels or fancy stuff, but robust as hell, and still holds up after 3 years of abuse, which can't be said of my Easton S13 backpack (all zippers except one are dead), used for my roller gear.
I'd get something on the bottom of the price range, 40", like the the CCM U+ 06.
I've tried everything from duffle bags to the new backpack style. Although I enjoy the wheel bags, and the larger bags... the amount of (good natured) ribbing & abuse I take isn't worth it. :-) The newer bags with all the fancy extras are also heavy as hell. Needless to say, I'm back to the no-frills team carry duffle bag style. Only 1 giant compartment, but light as a feather.
I bought the 40" one in red and love the room to just stuff things in without having to try to squeeze for space. It's got skate pockets inside the bag and little mesh zipper area. No frills and at least for me definitely better than my wheeled bag I had before. Been using it for a year now playing three times a week and no problems.
Huge bag, great reviews, and even cheaper than when I bought it on sale at $39.99. On sale now for $29.99.
I had an Easton S19 wheeled bag last year. Fancy as ****** but pretty big and heavy. It fit all of my gear and then some. (30 pack anybody?) The thing was made out of the most craptastic material known to man. I've always good luck with Easton bags but not that one and it was the top of the line at the time. It was falling apart within the first week.
I've since gone to a smaller shock doctor non-wheeled. Which is actually easier to get around even though I have to pack it a certain way to fit all of my stuff in there and there's no room for a 30 pack. Oh.. and I have to carry up 3 flights of stairs. The huge wheeled bag sucked for that.
I guess that is why my bag has wheels. I have a 44" bag and it sucks as it is way too big. It was a gift so i could not return it. My old bag had great features but the material that is was made of shredded and only lasted a year. The next bag would be about 40", wheels, outside skate pockets and an exterior water battle pouch.
I've got an Easton Synergy EQ 50, and it is crap. Falling apart after six months. To be honest most of the really "old" bags I see people use are canvas. Perhaps they do not make them like they used to?
I see a lot of nice Easton and Bauer bags falling apart. If you want a bag that lasts for life, spring for the canvas ones. My Mission backpack has been bulletproof the last few years.
