Yes, it's at 10:00AM ET! It's a school day game in Hamilton with thousands of screaming kids in attendance.

***

Kevin O will live blog the game on the D&C website; has already tweeted that Varone will return to the lineup and that Adam will remain at center.

Varone will be back. Adam still staying at center. I think when Hodgson returns, they should still keep Adam at center. He just can't play wing, he's a liability. Try Varone at wing.

I think they should keep Flynn at center. He will be this year's Varone.

Was Varone's injury a concussion?

9:24 - Kevin Oklobzija@kevinoDandC - The #Amerks and #Bulldogs have skated onto the ice at Copps Coliseum for warmups. The goalies are David Leggio and Robert Mayer.

9:42 - Kevin Oklobzija@kevinoDandC - Rookie D-man Jerome Gauthier-Leduc will make his pro debut today for the #Amerks. Matt MacKenzie won't play.

JGL debuts, paired with Finley; Varone returns; MacKenzie, Legault sit; Leggio starts in goal; forward lines shuffled to: 92-72-25, 74-32-91, 71-28-15, 12-22-10.

Yes - 4th game. It happens when ya play a team what 10-12 times every season - gotta get the games in somehow and your going to play a team 3-4 times in a 2 week span once a season. At least the next game vs Hamilton isn't until New Years Eve. In the meantime however - the Amerks will play Toronto at least 4 times.

Not the only 10:00 am ET game today in the AHL - Adirondack at Manchester are also playing.

It's on WBER 90.5. Search on Google, that station is streaming somewhere.

Amerks jump on board first! 1-0! (Figures I turn on the audio late and miss the goal)

10:12 - Kevin Oklobzija@kevinoDandC - Nick Tarnasky, at the left edge, jams in a rebound at 2:27 after a Rick Schofield deflection at the right side of the net. #Amerks up 1-0.

2:27 in and GOAL! 1-0 Amerks! Tarnasky-Schofield-Roy at it again. Tarnasky buries a cross-crease pass; assists credited to Schofield and McNabb.

F.Roy manhandled Beaulieu in the corner and won the battle, the puck went to the defenseman who made a slap shot. The puck wasn't controlled by Hamilton's goalie while Roy and Tanarsky were in front of the net. Tarnasky was finally able to touch the puck and he scored the goal.

Still 1-0 Rochester - 7:47 left 1st.

Lower bowl basically filled - kids banging their thundersticks and yelling so loud - Stevens can barely be heard.

10:33 - Kevin Oklobzija@kevinoDandC - Oh, and Evan Rankin was right when he said the shrill screams of school kids would hit decibels that before were unknown to humans. Yikes.

Sounds like Hagel in for Geoffrion?

Hamilton announcer "Gauthier, pass to Leduc"
