I ended up having to do the same thing, ran my full restore overnight and it was barely half done even though it was 8 hours after. Mine was one of the early fat gen ones, apparently there are some conspiracy theories out there that Sony kills some of them off with new game releases. Could be true, my husband's friend lost his after the last Final Fantasy and now possibly mine after Black Ops 2

The only issue I'm finding is that there are a lot of places for people to head glitch and stare down long lines of sight. I found this especially bad in Yemen and Turbine. This isn't a problem when it is only one person doing it, because you can just avoid that area, but I ran into full teams playing like this multiple times last night. I think the real problem there is that I need to learn the maps and find flanking routes, so that should be solveable in time.

Which is odd to me, because you'd think that running around maps is how you learn them. I don't see how staring down a hallway helps you learn the map.
Just played a bit more. I've found out that the dragon fly goes at the level you're on when you use it. So, if you're up high, it'll be up high.
The game ended, so I thought I got kicked for spawn camping with a dragonfly...
I got that thing a couple of times and kept getting "Cannot deploy dragonfire from this position" or some such. It didn't matter where I moved to, it wouldn't let me deploy it. I figure it must be some sort of glitch. I tried using it in combat training and it worked fine.
Whats the best secondary weapon. Played for like an 1hr last night and had no success with the default pistol whatever that one is.
I even hit an opponent 3 times in the back/chest but still died when he turned around.
I feel like at this point, whats the point of having a secondary weapon when 50% of the users are using the Skorpion evo and killing everything with that ultra fast fire rate.

Yeah, I learned in split screen that the evo is a beast.
For pistols, there's one pistol that I've noticed people running around with that kills insanely fast.

Man I love Treyarch campaigns , done so well. You can create your class before every level, and can complete challenges to unlock more stuff. Love the cut-scenes in their games also.
Would love for them to come out with an weapon pack, that has the favourite guns from the campaign.

I primarily use the SMAW because of all the uavs and such, but the one pistol, I think the name is bt23r, or something like that, it's a 3-round burst but fires so fast it performs like a strong semi-auto assault rifle (2 hit kill at mid range, I got an across the map snipe with it in HC one match lol)
Loving the game so far, and as what seems like one of the few fans of MW3, it will be interesting to see what game is better once I put some more time into multiplayer.
Love, love this game. Really brings the fun back into the COD franchise again. I couldn't play MW3 without a buddy, but with this one, i'm fine going solo
So annoying trying to play a good game of zombies online, its almost impossible with these stupid people who just do dumb **** and no one ever has mics
