I didn't catch much of the period, but I noticed stejskal is playing. Is he at forward or on D?

Saw him on D.

He saved a goal against, stopping the puck a few inches outside the goal line behind Mayer

I saw him paired with Corbin a few times, Nash isn't playing or I'm not seeing him. He barely played last game. Lefevbre doesn't seem happy with him.

Yeah, nash looked pretty bad last game. Everyone looked bad, but he looked 'special' bad, if you know what I mean

Gally and Holland look to be playing well. Saw quailer with some speed towards the end.

Can't believe Palushaj is the offensive veteran on this team. What a farce.

His empty net miss was "unbelievable"

All in all, good period for the Dogs, they were, more than usual, controling the puck in the Merks zone.

Good sign, I noticed they've often struggled in the first period in games, possibly coming out flat because they've played infrequently compared to other teams.

Corbin should have a try-out as goaltender!

3-0 Gauthier-Leduc shot tipped near the net

goal given to Gauthier-Leduc, meaning puck was tipped by...Beaulieu!

This team is seriously lacking fire-power upfront. Stortini, Boyce and Berger are all getting WAY too much time of ice. Geoffrion's injury is a big blow to this team. Hopefully Leblanc is coming back soon.

Since they're having so much trouble I think it's to give Avtsin a shot, I doubt it could hurt them anymore.

Bad period for the Dogs. Too bad, they were good in the first.

Their 2nd and 4th goal are very nice, great passes lead to a goal. I fail to see a good play from Dogs.

An awful game so far for Dogs, but it's still better than the last game vs Syracuse.

Everybody was saying they were goin to have a tough time in the AHL with so many rookies.

Well, with Geoffrion and Leblanc out, it is even worse....badly need some vets here!

Don't forget Pateryn. I thought he had a calming presence on the d-core. Never really seemed to panic.

We look awful out there. The PP is completely lost. There's absolutely 0 breakout. Don't think I've seen one nice tape to tape pass. Instead of a stortini or a boyce, this team needed a darche or a locke.

I know Corbin's story is nice and all but the guy keeps handling the puck like a grenade. Worst D for breakouts and lose many 1vs1 in the Dzone.

As much as it's easy to blame Beaulieu, 2 goals in the 2nd were a direct result of a bad read by a forward on the backcheck. The 3rd man is often caught looking at the puck instead of picking the guy out of the D's reach.

Speaking of the forwards, they'll need to win some battles on the forcheck because it's getting really easy for opposing teams to breakout versus the Dogs.

The Dogs have nobody in the first 150 AHL scorers.

Their first one is Geoffrion at 156th .......

Yes, we can make an excuse by blaming that the team is actually composed of too many rookies. But imagine that if all those rookies perform well, Dogs would be a better team. Right now, rookies are playing like a regular rookies, nothing special. They are playing like many other rookies, really nothing stands out. No, I'm not predicting their future, here I simply state how bad they are right now.

In terms of relativity, Gallagher, Holland and Bournival are among the best Dogs; but compared to the League, I think they are barely average players.
