Well, it seems Rinne can stink it up, as well. Check out the today's game highlights, and not just the first two goals he conceded. Makes me feel good not all goalies other than ours are tearing it up during the lockout.

Guess he went to the Bryzgalov school of puck handling over the summer...

He seems pretty well confirmed, too.

I would have never guessed Morgan Rielly has become the most overrated prospect on HF.

And Jake Gardiner before him. If Nick Cousins was a Leafs prospect at the top of the OHL in scoring he would be the next Mark Messier.

Blake Geoffrion is undergoing surgery currently after this hit

http://telly.com/6AA2N

http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/nhl/...medium=twitter

Geoffrion was caught with his head down by Côté as he drove along the boards. He was bleeding and holding his hands to his face when he skated off the ice to go to the dressing room.

'It's not life threatening'

"It's a head injury," Lefebvre said. "He's under surgery right now and it's not life threatening."

I can now see that the Czechs do not take racism lightly

That's awesome, yet overkill. Would be really interesting to see if this ever happened here in the states.

What's overkill? The media is stating the maximum penalty, not the one that's actually be applied. They might not even be imprisoned or convicted, we don't know how it's going to play out.

Pat Kane was arrested for skiing while intoxicated. Someone care to remind me why the Philly fanbase would have loved and accepted him?

Because if there wasn't a lockout, he wouldn't be skiing intoxicated, or skiing at all, for that matter

On a serious note, though, it's a pretty stupid thing to do, and I imagine you can really hurt someone that way.

Depends if you think having him over JVR changes the 2010 finals. Because if it does, Richards and Carter are still here too.

that would be ok for him to do that if he was a Flyer.
if we still had Jeff Carter and he does that? different story.

Josh Harding was diagnosed with MS. Such a shame . Kid has boatloads of talent, but can never stay healthy. Hopefully he can muster a couple more solid years before it forces him out. I know I wanted him in O&B a couple seasons ago when he was a FA.
