ThNF Week 10 11/15: Miami at Buffalo, 8:20 p.m. EDT

Miami at Buffalo
  • Date and kickoff: Thursday, November 15, 8:20 p.m. EDT
  • TV: NFL Network, Sportsnet RSNs
  • Records: Miami 4-5, Buffalo 3-6
  • Last week: Miami forgot about its game with Tennessee, Buffalo lost to New England in a close game.

The Series
  • Series history: Miami 56-39-1
  • Current streak: Miami 2 wins
  • Trends: Miami has won 6 of the last 8; Buffalo 7 of 8 prior to that.
  • Last meeting: The Dolphins posted a 30-23 victory in Buffalo on Dec. 18, 2011. Matt Moore threw for two TDs and Reggie Bush busted off a 76-yard TD gallop as Miami led 30-13 in the fourth quarter. The Bills were within seven with 1:26 left but failed to recover an onside kick, which effectively ended the game.

Yes, I made this GDT way early. I'm just so excited about this contest that I can hardly contain it.

... but really I was in the mood to get things done tonight, so I just did it now to be done with it.

I'm excited to see CJ Spiller back as the main running back. That might be the only reason I watch this game.

Every team gets a game ,, Leads to many terrible games

Gotta like the Dolphins chances with how terrible the Bills are

TNF isn't a marquee game. Everyone gets to play once, as BWC said.

NFL Network really couldn't care about the ratings of the games. They simply need the content of having games to get cable providers to pony up. It's subscriber fees they are after, not advertising dollars.

Yay the nation will have a chance to witness the abomination that is our D.

Fitztragic throws for 400 yards but the game will end on one of his patented Favre-esque interceptions .

Gailey is a moron, so he'll probably give it to Spiller 10 times and call 50 pass plays. He'd rather put the game in a mediocre QB's hands than let his only elite-caliber player determine it.

The Dolphins aren't terrible? They just lost to the Titans by 34. That said, the Bills are also horrible, they've lost 11 straight prime-time games, and they're 2-13 against the AFC East under Gailey.

I am not sure who the Dolphins are ...

Are they a better than expected team who is having a tough couple of games

Are they a bad team who played above expectation and is now free falling back to where they should be

I'm gonna go with the free fall one.

The Bills don't suck as of late. Last 4 weeks they have been competitive. Competitive against playoff caliber teams like Houston and New England. In other words, the Bills play good enough to lose.

I think it will be a close game in terms of result but horrible football to watch (like the KC-PIT game).

I don't think it will be that bad.

This is a tough one to pick. I'm picking the Bills based on the short turnaround & having to go on the road. But bad as Miami looked last week, they will likely be determined not to have a repeat performance. (as the Titans did after that abomination against Chicago)

The Bills should call the police if Fitzpatrick has a terrible game.

Those aren't Favreesque

Favre esque involving throwing into quadruple coverage , etc

Fitz just throws soft lobs to defenders all alone in critical moments

We are a good field goal kicker away from being atop the AFC East.....
