All I've been able to gather is that it was a hit in practice. Don't know by whom or for what reason...yet. No sense in speculating, but the Blades have been a mess from top to bottom. Thrower included.

Was not a pretty hit, if Thrower went in convulsion on the ice. Hope nothing serious....those head concussions are no joke nowadays...

The whole team seems like a mess but I'm beginning to wonder if Thrower has some serious attitude issues. As bad as the Blades have been you don't see Dietz getting involved in the level of drama Thrower has.

Still, I hope he's okay...

Been asked to provide comment here and was also asked yesterday over the phone by the guys at the pipeline show. At this point, considering I work for the team, all I can really say is that Thrower is considered day-to-day with an upper body injury.

The reports of him 'convulsing' on the ice are definitely untrue. But, yes, he was injured in practice.


As for his attitude overall, he was suspended by the coach earlier this year for an incident, so that's all I really need to say there.
