Oshie - Berglund - Perron
Eller - Backes - Stempniak
King - McClement - Palushaj
Bolduc - Schwartz - Reaves

Pietrangelo - E. Johnson

Bishop

I suspected Colorado would be strong, so I did their team too (including the Nordiques):

Vrbata - Duchene - Landeskog
Tanguay - Stastny - Hejduk
Wolski - O'Reilly - Stewart
Jones - Pahlsson - Oreskovich

Shattenkirk - Regehr
Boychuk - Liles
Gilbert - Cumiskey

Thomas
Budaj

Matt Beleskey - Peter Holland - Kyle Palmieri
Matt Tangradi
Brandon McMillan

Ladislav Smid - Cam Fowler

Schneider
Honzik

Tried to pick mostly NHL players, but had to plug in some prospects that could very well crack the team next season. Not sure if Sopel/Ohlund have officially retired yet?
Way too many unproven guys and left out way too many proven guys (Aucoin, Matt Cooke, etc.) Sopel is playing in the KHL and Ohlund has not retired. Honzik isn't even the best Canucks prospect goaltender (Cannata would be), but I'd put an established pro goaltender like Lukas Mensator above them considering they have much to prove at the pro level. Shirokov, KHL all-star, is also ahead of Rodin by a mile ...

Current NHLers that were Vancouver draft picks ...

Forwards (10):
Matt Cooke
Daniel Sedin
Henrik Sedin
R.J. Umberger
Ryan Kesler
Mike Brown
Jannik Hansen
Mason Raymond
Michael Grabner
Cody Hodgson

Defensemen (5):
Adrian Aucoin
Mattias Ohlund
Bryan Allen
Kevin Bieksa
Alexander Edler

Goaltenders (1):
Cory Schneider

Non-NHLers in: Jarkko Ruutu (Near PPG in SML, good 4th liner), Sergei Shirokov (KHL All-Star), Brent Sopel (Should still be in the NHL, currently in the KHL), Lukas Mensator (starting goaltender in ELH)

D. Sedin - H. Sedin - J. Hansen
M. Raymond - R. Kesler - M. Grabner
M. Cooke - R. Umberger - M. Brown
J. Ruutu - C. Hodgson - S. Shirokov

A. Edler - K. Bieksa
B. Allen - A. Aucoin
M. Ohlund - B. Sopel

C. Schneider
L. Mensator

Goes to show how brutal our drafting has been over the last 15 years that we can't even field a 20-man team of active NHLers.

I'll try to do the Rangers, this should be fun.

Hagelin - Anisimov - Callahan
Kreider - Stepan - Prucha
Korpikoski - Dubinsky - Crabb
Grachev - Moore - Weise

Staal - Del Zotto
Tyutin - Sauer
Zidlicky - Potter?

Lundqvist
Montoya

That's a horrible offence with good D and great goaltending

Looks like Penguins, Senators, Capitals, Habs and Canucks are the best teams.

If the Bruins actually drafted a defenseman (other than Hamilton who`s yet to play one NHL minute) who made a contribution I`d put them on here with such a solid corps up front (specifically up the middle). Looks like they`ve addressed goaltending draft wise with Subban and Sveberg

Great forwards, good top pairing, but I can't think of any good players to fill out the bottom 3 other than the bottom pairing guys on the Flyers right now (Gus, Bourdon, Marshall). Goalies aren't so good either
Woywitka and Picard are two more dmen I guess.

Sabres

Vanek - Roy - Pominville
Foligno - Ennis - Stafford
MacArthur - Gaustad - Gerbe
Paille - Adam - Kaleta/Kassian

Tallinder - Myers
Campbell - Sekera
Hejda/Butler/Ballard/Wideman/McNabb

Miller
Enroth

Dat D. Basically 2 serviceable top pairings and then a slew of 2nd-3rd pairing guys to pick from to round it out. Forwards aren't all that amazing though.

Was about to include Spezza, but realized he technically was never a member of the team. It would probably be something like this:

Todd Bertuzzi - John Tavares - Kyle Okposo
Josh Bailey - Tim Connolly - Taylor Pyatt
Raffi Torres - Frans Nielsen - Sean Bergenheim
Matt Martin - Petteri Nokelainen - Michael Rupp

Zdeno Chara - Travis Hamonic
Andrew MacDonald - Jared Spurgeon
Redden/Donovan - Radek Martinek

Luongo
DiPietro

Not great other than Tavares, Chara and Luongo.

Lucic - Thornton - Kessel
Marchand - Krejci - Seguin
Versteeg - Bergeron - Caron
Thompson - Sobotka - Bitz

Stuart - Gill
Hunwick - Jurcina
Morisson - Bodnarchuk (both AHL)

Raycroft (played stints last year, I will count him unless otherwise specified)
Toivonen (ECHL)

Pretty bad goaltending, and a very old D corps (though not too bad), but an insane group of forwards. Sobotka at 4th C is nothing to complain about, Bitz is a good grinder, and Thompson a solid 4th line guy also.

Some guys like Seguin were drafted at center (pretty sure Kessel was supposed to be a center too) but primarily play wing so I just put them on the wing. It will be hard to beat these guys offensively
I think goaltending would kill that team. It's too bad, because the forward depth is amazing.

Flyers are quite good, if a little lacking in defensive depth and goaltending:

Gagne-Giroux-Sharp
Williams-Richards-Carter
Zubrus-Couturier-Downie
Rinaldo-Prospal-JVR

Pitkanen-Seidenberg
Sbisa-Woywitka
Picard

Nittymaki

The intent is to use any and all of the team's draft picks, so all of the above would count.

The Pens clearly are number one (Due to sucking) with Boston (Due to good drafting) at two.

I think we could beat Pittsburg
We dont have their top talent but our 3rd/4th line would destroy their bottom line guy.

Don't forget Zanon, Silfverberg, Stone, Zibanejad and Lehner. All those guys played in the most recent NHL campaign.
This team would definitely compete for the Cup, especially if trades were allowed...

Indeed

I would probably concede Calgary has the worst draft record over the last 15-20 years.

Basically anyone on our team worth anything was acquired through a trade.

Iginla, Kipper, Boumeester.

Hell even notables like Regehr were not drafted by us.

Seriously, looking at that its almost no surprise that the Flames are a bottom feeder team. Horrible, Horrible Drafting.
