Loved to see Beaulieu, Corbin, Gallagher and Bournival for the 4 on 3 PP. However, to come back with Boyce and Blunden Where is Holland? Boyce and Blunden will NEVER run or play on a powerplay in the Big Leagues.. neither have they produced ANYTHING offensively in this game.. I would have preferred Holland and whomever.
He's either hurt or has somethinmg else off ice, no way they scratch him for a month straight even with injuries.
that's what I think. At this point it is either a coach trying to miserably prove his decisions or something we are not aware on Avstin's situation. Anyway Bergevin is probably always in contact with Lefebvre so I really doubt that it's the coach's decision at this point.

He's been a healthy scratch or at least was up until the previous game as the Dogs announcers were talking about him and saying that the coaching staff is working closely with him in practice.
This morning, I decided to take out a piece of paper and a pen to take note of the player performance. I tried to pay to little details: the pass precision, the takeaway, giveaway, hit, decision making, etc.
My assessment:
Good: none
Average: Dumont, Gallagher, Naatinen, Bournival
Bad: most of them
Awful: Palushaj, Holland
Worst: Beaulieu, and by very far. In my rating, he got -6 while the closest players are Palushaj and Holland with -2.

From this, it looks like Corbin was leading the way offensively. Should have gotten a point on Nattinen's goal. He's still better than Nash and I'd even say Pateryn and Ellis.
Dumont and Naatinen were the only one that stood out from the ruins, for me. Dumont for being surprisingly effective while not being the biggest out there. I still think he won't make it in the Nhl, but he never seems to have a really bad game.
Naatinen, on the other hand, would be a really good prospects if he had better skating abilities. He's big, throws good bodycheks and has pretty decent dekes when he wants to. I'd be interested to see him in a more offensive position for a prolonged time.
In the end, Leblanc's return might be the only option left for Lefebvre to create offense.
Edit : don't know why it Quoted Madevilz, I was refering to zzoo's post.
I'm out of the country, so can't really watch the games.
But what is it with the Dogs? everytime I hear about them, they get soundly beaten. What doesn't work with them? I thought we had good prospect there this year?
