Hemsky is playing in the Czech Republic League he has played 16 games with 11 goals and 10 assist for 21 points. He is finally healthy after he had his surgery. He is a legit top 6 winger on any team.
To a team that is looking for a top 6 winger with skill what would you offer for him?
He could be put in a package deal for a big block buster but obviously the FAB 5 are not moving but other prospects and Gagner could be added.

The bigger ice surface, the less physical playing style, fewer games and in general less skilled competition make it difficult to make a direct correlation between Hemsky's 1 month in Europe and how he will fair in the NHL. I do agree that a healthy Hemsky is a top 6 winger on any team in the NHL, but a healthy DiPietro is a good NHL goalie on any team or a healthy Marc Savard is a top 6 C on any team. Unless Hemsky can stay healthy and produce at the level he has in the past in the NHL he will not garner the return that he would otherwise.
Why are Euro-League stats at all relevant? Hemsky could put up 50 points in 17 games...he's still playing in a league that is NOT the NHL.
But to the OP, Hemsky has the same value as he did the past two years IMO. A top 6 winger who has bad injury issues. Teams wont give up much to get him simply because of the (very high) injury risk

Do you really think that is going to all of a sudden make teams forget about Hemsky's injury history of the last few years? 16 games, maybe that means he is due to get injured any day now just joking
For all those guys saying that Hemsky has no value you don't know anything about hockey; he is a legit top 6 winger and has played 21 straight games. He would help any team in the top 6 position. A team like NAS, PHX, NYI, and TO just to name a few would improve their team.

You keep telling yourself that, because as of right now,Ales Hemsky has NO VALUE!

A playmaking winger with top-6 talent whose shoulder troubles are behind him has no value? His value isn't high but to say he has no value is laughable. Put down the pipe.

has played 21 straight games? Is this some sort of achievement?

I agree, his value is low, real low....but not zero. The constant injuries just make it too hard to get even close to fair value for him. The Oil should keep him.

Unless he has a robotic shoulder I don't think you can make this claim.
