Second year forward in the OHL, playing on Guelph Storm, hows he doing? Will he be drafted? looking for any info
At this point, he's DEFINITELY a candidate for the top 60. Really heady offensive winger. Very good skater. Good with the puck. See's the ice well. Can score and pass. Just a solid overall offensive player. He's a bit of a pest too and will crash the net for rebounds. Defensively, he's improving.
I think he and Jarrod Maidens profile as very similar players, and people talk about Maidens as a potential first round pick...so I don't see any reason why Kosmachuk shouldn't be receiving that consideration too.

I really like Kosmachuk for some reason, even though I have never seen him play.

Brock sums him up very well. I see him as a 3rd line NHLer with some scoring ability. I watched him in Minor Midget and ill be honest I didnt see high end NHL potential, but hes proving me wrong this year, hes really progressed well in Guelph.
A teammate of The Dorsal Finn and Marcantuoni with the Marlies. Plays a very high energy game and is relentless on the forecheck. Would make a good 3rd liner in the NHL.
Cally drafted 4th round to NYR. Kos, a likely 2nd rounder. If he continues that progression, he'll be a steal.
Yeah I agree. Will be interesting to see where his goal scoring goes, as Guelph is not that offensively inclined. He might be able to hit 40 if Guelph improves as a team next year, which i do expect (improvement not 40g).
He was one guy I was very impressed with at the CHL top prospects game, never heard of him going into the game, but he was a guy I watched through the whole thing. Never gave up on the puck and seemed to have incredible chemistry with Faksa during the 3 on 3 at the skills comp.
I really like his progression over the past year. Has added a scrappiness to his game that makes him much more effective. I see him as a Steve Downie type player

That would be nice. Kos, Lowry, Trouba, Sutter, and Olsen could bring a lot of sandpaper to the Jets lineup one day.
