already bought tickets to go see the kobe/dwight/steve and pau show when it comes to town in the spring. those funds would normally have gone to seeing my canucks coming here to smoke the wild.

At least the NBA does not have a strategy of missing a whole season when they are negotiating a new CBA and David Stern is a tone more likeable than Gary Bettman. NBA is ran much more competently than the NHL. David Stern made sure the season was saved last year because he genuinely cares about the fans.

Watching a bit more of football lately, right now it's a replay of last season Preds vs Red Wings playoffs series but no way basketball.

The same ones that were far better than the final rounds of the NHL playoffs last season?

Interesting.

I will not watch one single NBA game unless I happen to be somewhere that has it on and even then I won't pay attention to it.

I will watch college basketball though.

No

Hockey is the only major professional sport that I watch, everything else I find boring or just think isn't really worth the time watching.

Boring
1. Football
2. Baseball

Not bad but also not worth watching
3. Basketball
4. Soccer

Just my opinion though, nothing comes close to earning my attention more than Hockey does.

Just can't get into the NBA. Thank God for the NFL being on 3 times per week. Actually can't wait for the Baseball season next year especially now with the moves the Blue Jays made

Didn't watch the NBA before, won't watch it now. I'll be watching CHL/AHL hockey, and the NFL (and CFL playoffs).

You couldn't pay me to sit through a basketball game. And I will never understand how people can sit through a sport as boring as this one.

Ehh I've tried, just can't stay interested. Basically if it's not the E/WCF then the NBA finals I can't watch. I am glad Harden's lighting it up, big ASU fan and I've followed him since then.

So substitute "hockey" for "basketball" and you are basically of the same opinion of most Americans?

With the success of the big market Knicks and the Clippers (and the constant interest in all things Lakers), the NHL is going to quietly fade into nothingness.
