Pasqual is someone I'd surely like to get. It's unlikely though at this point of his career.

Lol ridiculous, and this was his Forth goal of the game. He got more goals in a game than Gomez in a season.

Best goal I've seen since I started following soccer. The only goal I could think of that might be better than that off the top of my head is the free kick by Roberto Carlos.

There are a lot of brilliant goals throughout history, but IMO nothing come close to the Maradona 2nd goal against England in WC 86 when he undressed 5 players and the goalie.

Not working, is it Nick Powell's?

Since we are talking about goals, Here's the FIFA Puskas nominees for Goal of the Year, they were presented today. (7th of January is when they will announce the Ballon D'Or winner, but also goal of the year winner)

http://www.fifa.com/ballondor/puskasaward/index.html

Scroll down to watch the full sequence of each goal.. I still can't chose. I really like in particular Ben Arfa's goal, the scorpion kick, Sow & Falcao's bicycle's and Neymars run. Thats my personal shortlist

Nope. Gary Alexander's goal for Millwall at Wembley. Not Ibra's but still very nice for a guy who now plays for Crawley Town.

Here it is without the embedding: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQOuIHrQ11Q

Another one of my favorites, mainly because it's from my favourite team: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...468-e68#t=150s

1-0 Impact right now at half-time. Di Vaio is the scorer.

Fiorentina : Neto; Empereur, Roncaglia, Migliaccio; Cassani, Romulo, Olivera, Aquilani, Llama; Ljajic, Seferovic. A disp : Lupatelli, Rodriguez, Pizarro, Della Rocca, Borja Valero, Pasqual, Bernardeschi, Madrigali, Capezzi, Venuti, Toni. All: Montella.

Montreal : Bush; Camara, Ferrari, Nesta, Brovsky; Pisanu, Mallace, Bernier; Mapp, Essabre, Di Vaio. A disp : Ouimette, Nyassi, Wnger, Ubiparipovic, Cordova, Arnaud, Neagle, Perkins, Valentin, Iapichino. All: Biello.

Fiorentina is fielding a half-decent team there; Roncaglia, Aquilani and Ljajic are starters half the time. Since half time two more starters, Pasqual and Pizarro, have come on.

What a shot by Pasqual ! Just hit the crossbar The annoncers are saying that our players are athletic and in good physical shape, but that they lack technique because soccer is still growing in North America... and at the same time Wenger missed a play in or near the box and the announcers said " here is your example" ! They were also trashing Davy Arnaud big time for his tunnel vision and laughed it out when he tried a crappy shot for a bad angle.

All in all we really need a creative DP in the midfield. A question : can Bernier play wing ?

And... we're holding on to the lead ! that's good news. Hopelly this convinces good players to come over with the Impact.

What a win ! Fiorentina seems super pissed off from their answers with the reporters. Their coach seems to think we're barbarians and blames the defeat on his team being tired.

Good win for the Impact even if Fiorentina were treating this as a practice session.

Pisanu is definitely a keeper. He will be a big upgrade on Arnaud. He creates things and finds Di Vaio! That was a treat to watch, haha.

The after game interviews are interesting. They have a couple of Fiorentina players on air. I wish they interviewed our guys. I don't even speak Italian ! My Spanish and my French are helping me to understand. Wouhou ! They are now saying we have a good team ! Can't wait for next year with all the needed changes. Davy Arnaud interviewed live in english + italian translation like on l'Antichambre ! Same link as the game. Hahahaha and they think Arnaud is Patrice Bernier !!! They even wrote it on the screen ! When they asked Arnaud "would you take any player from Fiorentina?", Arnaud responded "I'd take about 5 or 6 of them" and everybody had a good italian laugh.

We definitely need a creative midfielder. But I would leave Bernier in his current role because he doesn't have the pace to run down the wings.
