Bob's your uncle is essentially like saying 'that's pretty much it' or 'simple as that'
I don't think you used it correctly, sask.

Nailed it CH. You also nailed the uncle quote...
But Sask, my uncles name is Pete. Awkward.
I'd love some bacon.

Oddly enough, I don't think any of my English relatives have ever used the term 'Bob's your uncle.' Only my Canadian relatives have used it, and it's when they're mimicking or mocking British accents.

Yeah but they used that expression in the Magic Bullet commercial

It actually turns your house into Benihana's! In addition, Mick delights his yuppie guests by using wonderfully cockney expressions such as "Bob's your uncle, Fanny's your aunt" —which is almost as much fun as watching him grind coffee beans.

My high school physics teacher used "Bob's your uncle" at least once every day.

While on the topic of English language, I got a chuckle out of this:
(I'll also be the first to point out his real name is, in fact, Shaun Bean)

I didn't play either of those games so I'll take your word for it. I stopped buying the game after 09 since it was basically the same game each year with a couple new features... Something the NHL franchise is falling into. 13 had some great improvements to make it more realistic but it didn't result in more fun imo. I have no idea why they can't adopt some of the things that make the FIFA and NFL franchise modes so amazing though. That system has been broken for too long.

My twitter profile pic tears at my soul. Kills me to see that Habs logo there.
Remember when Smeddy said it was hard for underagers to get alcohol?
