The last goal was so good that no one even talks about his ~30m freekick goal. When I saw that he was going to shoot from there I was like "no way". But he's had a few of those in his career now.

Colombia-Brazil is pretty entertaining.

The freekick was good but Hart really should have saved it, it was on his side of the goal aswell

The funny thing thing is that today they announced the 10 goals nomination for FIFA goal of the year. They definitely need to revise the list.

He scored the same against Marseille last month.

God English fans are .

Ibra really solidified himself as a top top player in the past week with the CL game and this. With all this talk about Messi/Ronaldo, he's quietly gone under the radar. Just ridiculous. PSG can beat anybody because they have Ibra. Messi/Ronaldo are the only two guys that I'd take over him. Barely, at that.

You get a bonus point just to be involved in a goal like that! (no matter in what way...)

Not that he hasn't solidified himself as a top-player a long time ago, but one week doesn't solidify anything.

Personally, I'd start saying that when they actually beat someone really significant. A top-of-his-game Ibrahimovic obviously helps any team's chances, but I wouldn't get ahead of myself to quite that kind of boldness.

I'm a registered Zlatan-sceptic, but when I snatched a glimpse of some Sweden-England highlights, I had to restrain myself from waking up the neighbours to gibber, "did you see that goal? Did you see it?"

Lovely first touch on the second goal too.

Not the happiest night of Joe Hart's career, it should be said.

For me Ibra is the best Euro striker for years, beautiful goal indeed.

As for Hart: Unless England starts to develop a really good goaltender, they will be mediocre internationally.

I think your last great goalie was (not) Peter Shilton but Ray Clemence.

For me, Shilton was great too. In my childhood, it seemed as if the majority of England matches entailed the opposition dominating, Shilton keeping them out and either Robson or Lineker snatching a goal.

Apparently, the first thing English scouts look for in a prospective keeper is size rather than technical ability. Little wonder goal has become a problem position.

England could do with Hart developing and last night might have the happy effect of dispelling some of the hype that's built up around him. Mind you, there are plenty problems in other departments of the team.

For what it's worth, Hart was England's most impressive player at the Euros.

Pretty much, although that's akin to being the tallest resident of the dwarf kingdom.

Yep, pretty much tore us apart. MOTM by a distance, absolutely schooled our defenders. They couldn't deal with his pace and intensity. Nice goal, great assist on Cavani's and a terrific strike in the first half (crossbar).

Lodeiro looked quite handy, too. Poland on the other hand lacked pace, only Krychowiak wanted to play somewhat quicker. Obraniak scored a brace, but besides that he was - again - completely missing in action. In general I saw some encuraging signs, just couldn't handle the high tempo and individual class of Cavani and Suarez.

Hart appears to be England's best goalkeeper since Seaman, but I feel he's getting severely overrated due to that fact and being among the best goalkeepers in the best league. Many seem to conclude that he therefore must be top-5 (or even better) in the world, from what I've been reading.
