Turnpike was unbelievably stuck today, now I know why. Nasty accident and they landed an ambulance helicopter on the turnpike and shut it down completely.

Always learning but i got it confirmed from another woman but I've got more important things to worry about.

Impressive that you found that many girls with green eyes, I'm pretty sure that's the rarest eye colour.

Unless you're talking about just two girls or something, that's less impressive.

Student loan debt could very well be the next unsustainable bubble to burst.

The best part? It's 100% uncollateralized! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really cant stress enough how completely horse****ed this country is economically.

I decided to take the turnpike home from work around 515ish. Terrible decision. Christ, what terrible drivers on there. Absolutely embarrassing as I spent about an hour on there going ~5 MPH for a majority of the drive.

So unnecessary too. You have all these clowns riding eachother's bumpers so every time there's breaking from the front it flows back down the line and causes even more of a jam than there was before.

I was nearing the EZ pass on 95S (by 15X) and our far right lane had to merge in because the cones cut us off. This huge semi wouldn't let me over so I merged over in front of a Honda. The dude started riding my ass. Seriously, traffic was moving at about 2mph and he's driving into my ass. I come to a standstill and he's inches from my bumper. Then, he nudges the back of my bumper. I felt it. I just bought my ****ing car and this impatient loser mexican has the audacity to graze my bumper. It literally took every single nerve in my body to refrain from getting out of the car and stomping on his hood. He's lucky I didn't have my golf clubs in the car because I would've stormed out and destroyed his hood with my 9 iron. Where did he think he was going? Traffic was moving at a snail's pace. It makes no sense to me..

Does anybody know about installing an auxiliary port in a car that does not have one? or some other option as to directly hooking up my iPod to my car stereo? It's an '06 Altima just to clarify.

I just nearly had a baseball bat altercation with some ********* in a Mercedes on 80. tried to ride the shoulder to avoid the traffic. he did it once, and the second time he went for it, I moved so I was half in my lane and half in the shoulder. so he would have to wait behind me, LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. we got off at the same exit, so at that point I had the bat on my lap, switchblade engaged. then he suddenly turns to an off-street, and when I pass him he threw something at the passenger side door. I guess we were both dicks in that situation..but the people who do that make everyone driving correctly wait even LONGER.

while I was stopped 1/2way into the shoulder, I made sure to flip him off constantly and sing the trollolololol song.

I block a lot on 80 too. At the end of the day when you head to the 287 exit, I always get in line and cars try to fly past the line and cut in last minute. I'll ride the bumper of the car in front of me and not let anyone in. I've probably had a handful of cars miss the exit because I wouldn't let them in. Get in line like everyone else.

As much as I understand some frustrations of driving in this state, throwing anything at any car is over a line that shouldn't be crossed.

Also as much as I advocate blocking in certain situations, I hate it when people do it in the wrong situations, like say, a single lane street with no shoulder that's wide enough for 2 cars wide...cars on the right in heavy traffic pull up to make a right turn on red at a light, and car drives down the center of the lane.

yeah, i couldnt tell what he threw, but if he knew me he would know i couldnt care less what happens (aesthetically) to my car. ding it with a shopping cart, rear end me lightly (teehee) i really dont care. and its a sweet assed car. but there was a split second after he threw it where i couldve hit the brakes, pulled a hard right, and gone after him. that split second felt like an hour. but in the end, im proud to say i kept on driving.

of course, now im pondering getting up early tomorrow, parking off that off-street, waiting for the guys car, and hurling a baseball through his window. but what if he doesnt take that route everyday, what if he doesnt go in on fridays, what if he was rushing because his mother was dying or something? eh, we'll see. i'll probably just let bygones be bygones

suggestions for places to go for the weekend to get away from it all?

not too far that travel takes up the whole weekend, but far enough that we don't see hurricane sandy destruction (ie not AC)
somewhere warm-ish (ie. not canada)
somewhere not too crazy (ie not vegas)
