I can't believe how ignorant restaurants still are about food allergies.

That sucks. What are you allergic to? As a person who's waited tables in my past, there are a fair amount of people who claim weird allergies just because they don't want or like something. Not saying you're doing it, just that people get desensitized to this stuff because you hear it all the time.

I'm allergic to nuts. I can eat peanuts and almonds but that's it. Anything else causes me to break out into hives and itch head to toe. My tongue and throat get itchy as well but luckily I've never had a serious anaphylactic episode. I do carry an epi pen in my purse and have one in every room in my apartment.

I wanted to try the new place downstairs from the office but everything was pre-made and had no label on it. The open for real on Monday so we'll see how things really are.

OK what the **** is with guys that come into the bathroom and whisper to themselves incomprehensibly nonstop while they do their business? Seriously, what the **** is that? I've worked with at least 4 different people that do this. It's slightly creepy and more than slightly weird.

Cheerios are like popcorn - you start out eating a few O's at a time, then within seconds its how many can I shove in my mouth at once. Same with popcorn -

Do you work at a mental hospital??

That's more than a little creepy. I would start using the bathroom on different floors if you can...

Twice in one week I've tried to cook rice without enough water. I think I'm losing my mind.

That's the thing... I'm all over the building and this happens in every bathroom.

Sometimes I think it is a mental hospital.

Rule number one: if someone asks you "does this rag smell like chloroform?" hold your breath.

Second rule: start using the ladies room. The way this place seems to be rampant with crapper whisperers, you'll likely end up as a rug in front of the fireplace of some whack jobs living room.

I'm partial to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Doc McStuffins myself. Jake the Pirate isn't bad either.

My last job had a couple weird bathroom characters. One guy would stand at the pisser next to me and start talking to me, then hold his hand out over the divider to shake my hand. I would always say, "Not now man, my **** is out".

Then there was a kid who I never figured out. He would starting firing into the urinal immediately upon stepping up to it, as if his shmenzer was already out on the way in. I used to say he was coming in hot, there's no other explanation. Also, as soon as the noise stopped he would zip and take off. No shake, not even an extra shot to make sure it's all out. Absolutely mind boggling. The very best part though, I saw him head fake the sink and leave without washing. Now, I know not all guys wash their hands afterwards, but to literally head fake the sink and head to the exit...that's just weird.

I used to think it was both funny and creepy, but after a few years, the funny wears off and it's just ****ing creepy.

I've heard only good things about it. I wish I got into it, cuz I'd love to see how they made a non movie channel TV show scary.

We wanted to see the show when it premiered last season but never got around to it, so when we heard each season was going to be a stand alone story, we started up watching it this year. Good stuff, really creepy, and really twisted. I'm a little disappointed with one of the big "reveals" from last night because I nailed from the jump, but the stories of each character are very dark.

Son of a sea biscuit, I didn't know that either. I'll have to see if I can catch up with the on demand stuff or something.

You work in IT. THere's a social development thing that is generaly overlooked, or at least secondary to "procesing data".

I was gonna say "yeah, but it happens in Accounting too", but then I realized that it's much the same deal there.

Plus some guy who used to work in the mailroom used to do it, but he was never quite all there.

When I screen candidates for IT jobs, I have a completely different expectation and set of criteria that I use, even for other positions that I'm not a subject matter expert in.

I screened a guy for an IT role that signed an email:

TGIF,
(name)

He was quirky, but he's an IT guy. You all are a different breed.

We take pride in that. It's sometimes the only pride we CAN take...
