Brandon Bochenski...

Actually I really wanted him to succeed. Fringe NHLer at best, but the reason we picked him up (sniper), he should have had more of a chance to do that.

Glen Murray post-Joe Thornton. Should have moved him when he actually had value and wasn't pulling his groin every other game.

Manny Fernandez. Don't understand why we loaded up cap space with this guy... I understand the point of not believing in Tim Thomas at that point, but there were cheaper options.

Although I wasn't a fan of everyone on the Cup Winning team, I give them all a bye for giving us the cup.

That was easily the worst excuse for a hockey team I've seen in my lifetime.

Almost had me thinking at the time that the B`s were employing scabs, not true NHL`ers, man were those tough times to be a fan of this team

Here's a recent player that I haven't seen mentioned yet: Vladimir Sobotka. He was nothing more than filler, but you couldn't say a negative word here about the guy without half this place going nuts and calling you names.

Oh I hear you, gawd forbid, on a few occasions, I did and was lambasted for it. Loved the guys effort, but some here posted things leading one to believe this guy was a guy waiting to burst into the conversation of superstar. Never understood it, loved his passion to play hard and physical, had/has some limited offensive talent at best, never understood the non-stop fandom surrounding him, probably how some view my man crush on Caron

When he first came up, I liked him. Played a physical game with some grit, but I started to dislike him mainly because of the ridiculous amount of love he got from this place. He was a marginal player, with marginal skills, but like you said, everyone acted like he was a future top 6 without question. That attention made me dislike him far more than I should have.

Clearly a gassed Tom Fitzgerald & Shawn McEachern were the answer to all our problems...

Probably guilty of it myself, also that short Byron Bitz phase where he put up a few pts, had fans screaming at Julien to putting him out there to try and help him get that hat trick a few years back, although, to be fair, Bitz never had the adoration here as much as VS, a nice player, a useful player, gave a more than honest effort but....

Oh gosh, McEachern, forgot about him too, too many forgetful additions to the B`s lineup, thanks for reviving the nightmare

ManFern--went to an away game at MSG during the 08-09 season. B's went up by a few goals and we were having a blast with the crowd. ManFern proceeded to blow the lead and the Rags won. Felt like all of NYC enjoyed watching my buddies and I eat crow--including the NYPD cop who beeped at us and said "Go Rangers" over his cruiser's microphone as we crossed a street.

Same boat, Sobotka was nothing more than a fourth liner and one that didn't fit.

Corson
Gonchar - because we got a glimpse of what could have been the best team in the NHL, followed by an early heart-breaking playoff exit, a lockout, and the tearing down of the team. (I just don't like to think of how good that line-up looks going into the playoffs that year)
Iafrate - because my expectations were so high.

I liked him and petteri nokelainen when they first came up.. then i use just say "oh theres the lefty nokelainen" when sobotka has the puck and vice versa. They gave their all i have respect for them because of it. But they just didn't get it done in the end.

It always amazes me how he made 3 or 4 good plays that stanley cup run ( a few players did that) and all of a sudden he's this huge wanted commodity. I was more impressed with chris kelly than ryder.
