Hi. I would have a question since you follow the Swedish league.

How many years do you think Collberg will spend in Frolunda before moving on to the NHL ? I don't have a problem with him playing in Sweden since it's high caliber hockey, and he'll probably have more responsabilities in the future.

I wouldn't be against Sebastian Collberg going back to play with Frolunda if it means that he would gain back his access to their training facility that Trevor Timmins was raving about in his post-draft interview.

One of the main thing that seems to be holding him back right now judging by reviews from person that saw him play is his lack of strength. I don't know about Orebro HK (maybe someone could enlight me on this?) but do they have a good training facility? Do they even have one? Even if he would benefit with more icetime with Orebro, I think that it would be better for his long term development to be with Frolunda.

No, tax issues.

And injuries are starting to pile up so my guess is they bring Collberg back next week.

I know you weren't asking me this, but I think Collberg finishes the year in Frolunda and next year, chances are he will be in NA. Whether it would be the CHL or AHL, who knows at this point.

I say, after this year, one year in CHL, one year in AHL, then depending on how he looks/progresses, more AHL or NHL or a mix of the two.

Nice! 4 points in 9 games. Right around where I figured he would be.

Why ? That would be step back compared to Allsvenskan Hopefully he will have breakout year next season in Allsvenskan and then two good seasons in Eliteserien and then move to NA

Yeah, for all the panic he's producing comparable to first round Swedish prospects.

I don't think he'll be playing in NA next year. He's too good for the CHL and probably not good enough for the AHL. I don't want to him to be another Avtsin and play in the AHL too young.

Add to that the fact that there will be a headcoach change and the new coach seems to rave about Collberg.

If Frolunda is willing to sign him for a 1 year contract, it would be the best situation. He's between 2 and 3 years away from the NHL.

Yeah, it's hard to keep level headed about a prospect who isn't putting up points when you don't get the opportunity to watch them.

No one can really answer that though as I'm sure it will come down to what the Habs brass think will be best for him going forward. Frankly I don't care where he plays as long as he gets a decent amount of ice time.

I'm not sure i'd agree that it's a step back, as learning the North American game in say the OHL or dub on the smaller ice might be good for him to learn sooner then later. Granted I don't think it's bad for him to be in the SEL or Allsvenskan, but just not sure I'd consider it a step back in terms of the big picture.
