I guess it all depends. I ain't got a whole lot of money though I got a house unlike the 18 year old who lives at home with no privacy. I ain't got the best looks, but I'm no cyclopes. I don't know? I still don't have the testosterone to make a move there! I'll be on one of those LOW T commercials!

By the way not making fun of 18 year olds who live at home. I wish my parents were still alive for me to even be able to live in their house.

Making me feel (slightly young). Finished 5th grade/started 6th grade in 1999. Hooray for being slightly younger than others. Although I can show my age too by saying I first got a cell phone like a month or two before I got a drivers license (so like 8 years ago... 2004) if I remember correctly. 17 years old for my first cell phone. These days kids have them probably by the time they're 8. I wasn't exactly the first my age to have a cell phone, but they weren't overly common for students in high school while I was there. Probably 50% of the people at most. Damn you spoiled young people.

The reason I probably got one when I did was because my parents felt I should have one once I had my license. If I was going to be driving all over the place, they either wanted a way to be in touch with me, or for me to have it in case of emergencies. Otherwise I bet it would have been later until I had one. I think I was the last person on earth to get a CD player back in the day. I can't recall if I got one just before or just after starting middle school (so we're talking Fall 99 at the earliest). I was big on my walkman and my cassettes though.... Holy crap just saying that makes me feel old.

no joke - the asteroids that fly around during the ride looked just like giant chocolate chip cookies. Made me want some chips ahoy and milk after I stopped screaming like a girl. I hated coasters back then, and especially that one because I couldn't see CRAP in there and the sudden jerks and drops drove me nuts.

Now of course I love riding coasters.

And I still love Chips Ahoy with milk.

You could always just go anyway and have to awkwardly bail if she isn't there.

It's a 7-11, right? What's the worst that could happen just from stopping by even if you don't know she's there? As long as it's not too far out of your way, it's not a problem.

chips ahoy are the nips, except the chewy ones. dont like those.

may i ask how you overcame the roller coaster thing? i love speed, i just dont love heights (not such a big roller coaster problem because you go down as fast as you come up -pause-) and my number one problem is the climb. not the miley cyrus song- i find that inspirational. i mean that first climb. slowly, creaking, as you realize you have absolutely 0 control of the next 90 seconds of your life.

any tips would be appreciated. maybe i should listen to 'the climb' before getting on? idk?

I think my natural affection (and infection) with speed and motorcycles from ages 14-24 pretty much locked me into loving coasters. I don't much care for the smooth riding rails as much as I love the shake the crap out of you old wooden (and scary looking/sounding) ones. The sheer violence of it all and the thought not so far in the back of your head that this thing could rip apart at any second sending you into a splinter fest of pain and agony is the thrill for me. Heights I don't really have a problem with as long as I'm not standing on the edge of a building more than 5 stories up. If that slow tick tick tick tick... climb to the arms up salute is giving you problems and nothing else, just look up at the sign "KEEP HANDS INSIDE THE RIDE AT ALL TIMES" and close your eyes for the big drop then enjoy.

Of course if you really can't get over the 2 stories up issue, maybe a fast powerboat ride is what you need instead.

I hated rollercoasters up until I was like 13...then we went to Las Vegas and my parents tricked me into going on the Circus Circus rollercoaster and that got me hooked lol

Yeah, but the overpriced gatorade takes a toll on my pocket! Just got a snickers, and butterfinger bar instead. Seriously though I mostly just wanted to get a heads up to see if she was there. Of course my buddy replies back when I'm in the store an hour after I texted him.

It was some other girl there, and some dude I know through a mutual friend who works there.

The age I look depends entirely on how long it has been since I last shaved. When I am clean shaven, I get carded sometimes buying M rated games or going to R rated movies. When I let the stubble grow for a few days, I look my age.
