In more pleasant news, our pub quiz team took a hard fought 3rd place standing last night that went to OT. After tying another team in points, my sister destroyed them in a karaoke tiebreaker to the theme of Rocky III.

So I spent three separate days doing everything to fix my computer short of replacing hardware, I spent thirty minutes with the tech support guy on the phone who suggested system recovery which failed in the past and it seems to be working. I think I just needed a tech support guy to suggest it.

i also found this on the internets. a poster from 1906 for Klaus Chocolates founded by Jacques Klaus in 1856. i was hoping it was actually a movie poster a surrealist film staring Klaus Kinski as the Velveteen Rabbit. no dice.
